Seth Rollins has been one of the main characters in WWE in recent days. "The Visionary" defeated Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel to end a 3-0 losing streak against "The American Nightmare", in addition to winning his first Crown Jewel championship ring. But his happiness has been tarnished today after being betrayed and attacked by his Vision teammates on WWE Raw.

This unexpected turn of events has led many to speculate about Rollins' future. However, the truth is that something seems off. The fact that the betrayal took place on a weekly show and right after Seth met his next challenger - his archenemy CM Punk - has caught the attention of fans, many of whom believe it is a dramatic move orchestrated by Triple H following recent criticisms of the product. However, the reason could be very different.

Mike Johnson, from PWInsider, has learned that what happened on WWE Raw is related to a possible injury suffered by Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel. At a certain point in the match, Rollins launched himself at Rhodes with a Coast to Coast to hit his rival with a headbutt. However, "The Visionary" landed awkwardly on his left arm, which he did not use for the rest of the match. Many thought it could be a kayfabe injury, but it seems not to be the case.

"The segment aired today on Raw, in which Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker betrayed Seth Rollins, was necessary because Rollins suffered an injury during Crown Jewel: Perth this weekend," wrote Johnson. "It is believed that Rollins injured his left shoulder when landing after performing the coast to coast leap towards Cody Rhodes, who was hanging upside down in the corners."

"There is no official information on the exact nature of the injury, but Rollins was seen with a sling in a photo taken with a fan on Sunday night in Australia. He is reported to undergo medical tests in the coming days," the report concluded.

Meanwhile, the specialized media Fightful has also contacted some sources in WWE to learn more details about the case. "A WWE source said -individually, not on behalf of the company- that a real arm fracture could end up being better than a shoulder injury, because Rollins could return in December with a fracture. However, they stated that it would be unlikely they could avoid a 'drastic change' if the shoulder injury was more severe," the media wrote.

For now, we will have to wait for the results of the medical tests to know the nature and extent of the injury and the possible repercussions on the Heavyweight Championship scene. On the other hand, we cannot rule out that Seth is once again playing with the fans by feigning an injury inside and outside the ring as he did a few months ago.
