WWE held a new edition of Friday Night SmackDown tonight, featuring impactful returns and several title defenses. In one of the main events, the Women's Tag Team Championships match saw Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss emerge victorious against NXT stars Zaria and Sol Ruca to retain the gold.

The match began with a series of holds exchanged between Charlotte Flair and Sol Ruca. The NXT challengers managed to take control of the match, punishing Alexa Bliss with combined attacks and submission holds. Zaria and Ruca showcased great coordination, delivering assisted corner splashes and dropkicks that troubled the champions, but Bliss managed to withstand the onslaught to tag in her partner.

Flair quickly entered the match, taking down both opponents with a Diving Crossbody and a flurry of chops. "The Queen" executed a handspring clothesline on Zaria and thwarted Sol's Boston Crab attempt. The turning point came when Ruca hit her Sol Snatcher, but Alexa Bliss broke the pin, keeping her team alive.

Chaos erupted at ringside with all four competitors exchanging blows, but the final distraction occurred when Blake Monroe, also from NXT, appeared and cheered on Sol Ruca. Ruca confronted Monroe, a moment Charlotte Flair seized to deliver a chop block and bring her back into the ring. Flair locked the NXT star in the Figure Eight, forcing Sol Ruca to submit and securing the fourth successful title defense for the champions.
