All Elite Wrestling held a new edition of WrestleDream tonight, an event that featured great matches and standout moments. One of the main highlights was the match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, where the Brodido team managed to defeat the challengers Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada, members of the Don Callis Family.
The match started with a fast pace between Bandido and Kazuchika Okada, but the intensity escalated when Konosuke Takeshita entered the ring. After a Takeshitaline on Brody King and the initial offense from the Don Callis Family, Brodido regained control with a Double Lariat from King and a Moonsault from Bandido towards ringside on both challengers. However, Okada took advantage and attacked Bandido from behind, focusing on his injured shoulder.
The aggression continued from the challengers, until Brody King got the tag, delivering a Big Boss Slam to Takeshita and a Death Valley Driver on Okada, throwing him against his own partner. The action became chaotic with a flurry of moves, including a Dragon Screw from Bandido and a Code Red, although Takeshita managed to kick out.
In the climax, chaos ensued for the challengers when Okada "accidentally" hit Takeshita with a Rainmaker. This mistake was crucial, as Bandido took advantage to execute an X Knee and, overcoming the pain of his injury, performed his 21 Plex with just one arm on Okada. This move, combined with a Suicide Dive from King on Takeshita, was enough to secure the three count.
