Last August, Fightful reported that The Hurt Syndicate had disrupted some creative plans in All Elite Wrestling after refusing to lose the World Tag Team Championships to JetSpeed, the team composed of Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey. Specifically, it was said that Bailey didn't sit well with MVP.

After the uproar that was generated on the Internet, both men decided to add a touch of humor to the situation. In this way, Bailey invited MVP to his Vlog, where they both insulted each other with a "fuck you," thus mocking the report and the rumors.

However, there are still those who believe that MVP's animosity towards Bailey is real. So much so that the member of The Hurt Syndicate was asked about the issue again in the most recent edition of his podcast Marking Out. In it, he wanted to make it clear that he has no problem with any of his locker room colleagues.

"First things first: at no point did I say that I didn't like 'Speedball' Mike Bailey. I have no issue with Speedball. We work together, we see each other, we shake hands, and we move on. There's no problem there. I have no issue with any of the talents I work with in AEW. Mike Bailey is one of the nicest guys around. I have no problem with him," he said.

After losing the World Tag Team Championships, The Hurt Syndicate began a rivalry with The Demand, AEW's new faction led by Ricochet. Meanwhile, JetSpeed maintains an intense rivalry with FTR, to which Willow Nightingale and Megan Bayne have joined.
