John Cena and Blake Monroe represent the present and future of WWE. "The Greatest of All Time" is just two months away from hanging up his boots, while "The Glamour" is emerging as one of the female superstars with the most promising future in the company. Today, the British wrestler shared a pleasant moment with her idol during his visit to the Performance Center in Orlando.
Monroe didn't miss the opportunity and took a photograph with Cena, which he quickly posted on his social media along with the GOAT emoji (in reference to the term Greatest of All Time). The result? Over 160,000 views in just one hour, and counting. Despite nothing particularly special about it, the image has certainly generated a lot of interest in the community.
This is not the first time John Cena has visited the WWE Performance Center. The seventeen-time world champion made his first appearance on NXT on the October 10, 2023 episode, where the brand was directly competing with AEW Dynamite on a special night reminiscent of the old "Wednesday Night Wars". That night, he took the opportunity to talk with the talent of the brand, including Trick Williams and Ilja Dragunov, among others.
Cena will not appear on television again until the WWE Raw show on November 10, which will take place in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. After that, he will only have three more dates before his retirement, which will take place on the Saturday Night's Main Event show on December 13. Meanwhile, Blake Monroe is expected to compete for the NXT Women's North American Championship this coming Saturday at Halloween Havoc. If she wins, she would capture her first title in WWE.
