The night of WWE Raw was full of emotions, shocking announcements, and several title matches. In the fight for the Women's Intercontinental Championship, Maxxine Dupri managed to defeat Becky Lynch for the second consecutive week, although this time by disqualification, so she couldn't win the title.
The match started with Becky Lynch's dominance, who cornered Maxxine Dupri with an aggressive offense and taunted the fans. "The Man" used constant attacks, roll-ups, and an inverted DDT, in addition to punishing her opponent outside the ring. However, Maxxine managed to reverse a Manhandle Slam with a Stunner and began a counterattack that included a leg drop to the back of the neck and a suplex.
The exchange continued with submission attempts, including Lynch's Dis-Arm Her and Dupri's Ankle Lock, which she managed to reverse with great flexibility. After a diving crossbody from Maxxine, Becky tried to escape the ring, leading to a struggle between them. Frustrated for not being able to finish the match, Becky Lynch used the Championship to hit her opponent's back, immediately causing the disqualification.
Despite losing the match, Dupri was declared the winner by disqualification, although the title remained with Lynch, who finished off Dupri with a Manhandle Slam before leaving amidst the fans' boos. Later, Becky Lynch had a tense confrontation with Paul Heyman backstage. Heyman tried to recruit Lynch for "The Vision," but the former champion confronted him, assuring him that Seth Rollins never trusted him and that her husband will return to seek revenge for the betrayal.
