Piper Niven's career in WWE could be at a critical moment. The Scottish wrestler, who has been out of the ring since August, is suffering from a cervical injury that specialized media have described as a possible end to her career. Both Niven and the WWE medical team are analyzing what the most appropriate treatment is to avoid irreversible consequences.
During a question and answer session published by PWInsider, journalist Mike Johnson explained that the situation remains uncertain. "They are trying to figure out the best course of action," he commented, adding that the company is approaching the process with special care. The current goal is to ensure Niven's health before making any decisions about her professional future.
Her last match took place on August 22, 2025, on SmackDown, where she achieved an important victory against Charlotte Flair. That night seemed to mark a turning point in her career: alongside her partner Chelsea Green, known on television as The Secret Hervice, Niven was on her way to competing for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. However, the match was abruptly canceled after her unexpected absence, sparking numerous rumors.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Green has kept the storyline alive on screen with comedic segments, but has acknowledged that her partner's real situation is very serious. In statements to Woman's World, Green emphasized that "Piper is irreplaceable" and that her priority now is for her to "recover and stay mentally strong."
Although WWE has not released an official medical report and Niven has not spoken publicly, various sources within the company acknowledge that the prognosis remains open. Some fear she may never compete again, while others maintain optimism that, with time and proper rehabilitation, she may return to the ring.
