Jey Uso is one of the most prominent superstars of WWE at the moment. Beloved by many and hated by many others, the victories of the Samoan wrestler do not leave anyone indifferent, especially when the World Heavyweight Championship is at stake. And that's exactly what happened last week when Jey won a battle royal to become one of the contenders for the top championship of WWE Raw.

Criticisms quickly arose, with many fans expressing their discontent on social media over a creative decision they did not agree with. So much so that the video of Jey's victory on YouTube received a large number of "dislikes", a form of protest that has become common in recent years. However, it seems that this reaction will not interfere with WWE's plans, as reported by the specialized media outlet Fightful.

"We consulted sources within WWE about the 'dislikes' on Jey Uso's victory video in the battle royal. In the past, WWE sources have always questioned the validity of those 'dislikes', as YouTube hides them and a browser extension is required to view them. Nevertheless, we were informed that this will not affect the planning or the creative direction of the story going forward," the outlet wrote.

Jey Uso will face CM Punk in WWE Saturday Night's Main Event for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship, after a shoulder injury forced Seth Rollins to step away from the company's television programming. To earn this opportunity, Jey did not hesitate to eliminate his own brother, further opening the possibility of the Samoan wrestler executing a heel turn in the near future.
