Live Report of WWE Raw October 27, 2025

WWE Raw on Netflix begins!

We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: Penta, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss.

The show starts with a video recap of last week's episode, which ended with Jey Uso's victory in a battle royal to earn a shot at the Heavyweight World Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event.

We see the Heavyweight World Championship on a pedestal in the center of the ring. Next, Jey Uso makes his entrance. The Samoan interacts with the fans as he makes his way down the aisle. Uso continues his path to the ring, where he finishes his entrance. "One more time!" the fans exclaim when the music stops. Jey grants their wish. Uso climbs onto the apron to interact once again with them. Jey asks for a microphone. "CM Punk, CM Punk!" chants the crowd. The Samoan welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw. Jey acknowledges that he has a lot of people talking to him: Roman Reigns, his brother Jimmy. And even his mother. However, right now he doesn't care what they think or have to say, because this Saturday it's about him and the Heavyweight World Championship. It's about becoming a two-time world champion. "You know the saying. Four letters, one word...", says Jey before being interrupted by CM Punk.

"The Best in the World" makes his entrance to a great ovation. CM Punk heads to the ring, where he asks for a microphone. CM Punk imitates the Samoan by looking at the fans to offer them a repeat of "Cult of Personality." After the joke, he addresses Jey. "Four letters, one word: Punk", he says. "The Best in the World" doesn't want to bother the Samoan. In fact, he wants to congratulate him for listening to himself for once and not to others. CM Punk addresses the audience to inform anyone who doesn't know that he and Jey are very good friends in real life. That said, he points out that he always puts himself in the shoes of his rivals. However, he admits that he has never been in the situation Jey finds himself in, because he has always listened to himself. "I've followed my heart, listened to my instinct, and believed in myself, which is easy when you win. It's much harder when you lose or are about to", says CM Punk.

CM Punk recalls that Jey eliminated his own brother to win the battle royal last week. And that's something that shouldn't be booed, because Jey didn't break any rules. It was a match where every man fought for himself and that's exactly what he did. That also showed him that Jey has what it takes. However, now he wonders how far the Samoan is willing to go to become champion again. CM Punk recalls that his last reign was very brief. And that's why he desperately needs the title. Only then can he breathe in the air once again. "The Best in the World" knows how far he's willing to go on Saturday. But, what about Uso?

Jey stands in front of CM Punk. The Samoan reminds him that he has been in difficult situations before. And he also knows his opponent very well. He knows that "The Best in the World" will try to turn him into the villain of this story, but he doesn't care. "I know, but you know what? Screw you, Punk. Yes! Because on Saturday night I'm going to show you who The Best in the World is, Uce! Four letters, one word!", exclaims Jey. "YEET," the fans respond. The Samoan tosses the microphone to leave the ring. Jey heads backstage, leaving CM Punk behind. And so we reach the end of the first segment of the night.

We move to The Judgment Day's clubhouse backstage. There we see Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Finn Bálor, and JD McDonagh conversing. Dominik Mysterio appears on the scene to inform them that they have a problem. Rodriguez knows it very well. It's about Nikki Bella and they are already talking about it. Mysterio replies that it's not about that. It's a real problem: Adam Pearce has it out for him. And it's because the Raw General Manager wants him to defend the Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event. That's why he needs his teammates' help. Bálor and McDonagh make it clear that they won't be able to count on them as they have other matters at hand, like regaining the Tag Team World Championships they lost because of him. "Tonight, buddy, you're on your own," says McDonagh. Finn stands in front of Dominik before leaving with JD. Mysterio takes out his smartphone to make a call. "I need your help," he says as he leaves. Roxanne thinks she should go after him to discuss the matter, but Raquel stops her. "Let him take care of his business. We'll focus on ours," says Rodriguez. "The Prodigy" starts to warm up as the segment comes to an end.

We see actor and singer O'Shea Jackson Jr. and several LA Galaxy players in the front row.

After that, he tries to catch the Mexican in the Accolade, but his opponent blocks it to execute a Penta Driver. 1..2..NO. "The referee sucks!" chant the fans. Penta and Rusev exchange knee strikes on the canvas. Suddenly, Los Americanos storm the ring to attack both wrestlers.

Match ends in a no contest

Rayo and Bravo immobilize Penta so that El Grande Americano can knock him out. After that, they head to ringside to throw Rusev against the metal stairs. The Americans pose in the center of the ring, at which point Rusev returns. Furious, the Bulgarian gets rid of Bravo and Rayo. El Grande Americano tries to escape, but Penta catches him. He prepares to execute a Penta Driver, but Bravo and Rayo grab their partner's legs to save him. Penta and Rusev remain in the ring while Los Americanos retreat through the entrance ramp.

Jackie Redmond interviews LA Knight backstage. "The Megastar" acknowledges that he was unable to win his title shot at Saturday Night's Main Event. But that doesn't matter anymore. Besides, he's used to taking the difficult path to achieve his goals. That said, he addresses Jey Uso and CM Punk directly, making it clear that whoever comes out with the World Championship around their waist will have a gold threat called "L-A-Knight."

Byron Saxton interviews Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston in the fan area. Saxton asks about the absence of Xavier Woods. Waller points out that his partner is taking a mental health break. Xavier has given his all for WWE and its tag team division over the last decade. And how do the fans thank him? Grayson reads a message that Xavier has left for the Anaheim fans, calling them fat from a stinky city. Meanwhile, Kingston goes after Adam Pearce once again for giving a title shot to a random team like AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. The fans boo him. Kofi tells them to shut up. The Ghanaian promises that when the time is right, Woods and he will reclaim what they deserve: a title shot. And once they become the new Tag Team World Champions, the fans will have to... Byron interrupts Kingston, pointing out that time is up. Grayson and Kofi argue with Saxton as the segment comes to an end.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed converse with Paul Heyman backstage. Breakker understands why he and Reed didn't participate in the battle royal last week, and he fully trusts Heyman, but he still thinks they should have stormed the ring and destroyed each and every one of the participants in that match. That would have been the fastest way to reach the Heavyweight World Championship. Paul assures him that it's a great idea, but it would have had consequences. Such behavior would have further angered Adam Pearce, who could have even suspended the three of them. That way, he would have achieved his goal of keeping Breakker away from the championship for life. Instead of attacking twenty other men, they should focus on just one. On a man who has the same goal as them. Meanwhile, they can let CM Punk and Jey Uso tear each other apart. This way, the path to gold will be clear. Bron asks Heyman to get him a match against that man. "The Oracle" informs him that it's already scheduled for tonight. Breakker asks who he's facing. Paul replies that it's LA Knight. Bron laughs. Reed puts his arm around his partner. "YEAH," says the Australian. And so we reach the end of this segment.

We see a promotional video for the tenth anniversary of Asuka as a WWE superstar.

Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh enter Adam Pearce's office. He's glad to see them, as he has great news for Dominik Mysterio. The Irishmen inform him that their partner isn't with them. They've come for another reason: they want a title shot against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee, and they want it tonight. Pearce replies that it won't be possible, as they already have a match scheduled for the show. Finn and JD don't understand what he means. Adam reminds them that last week they illegally eliminated a participant in the battle royal. Well, that man came to his office and, furious, demanded a match against The Judgment Day members. That said, he suggests they make a decision because one of them will have to face Sheamus in a one-on-one match. McDonagh volunteers, promising that once he's done with "The Celtic Warrior," he'll come back to get the title shot they deserve. JD leaves the office. "Hey, when he's done, don't forget: Tag Team Titles," says Finn before following his partner.

We see actress Cristela Alonzo in the front row.

Roxy seeks refuge at ringside, where Rodriguez protects her. Nikki stands in front of Raquel, a moment Perez tries to take advantage of to surprise the WWE Hall of Famer. However, she stops the attack and counters with a right hand. Nikki throws her opponent against the barricade before taking her back into the ring.

Rodriguez returns to the ring to confront Vaquer. Nikki joins the Chilean. Raquel then decides to retreat. Rodriguez and Perez head backstage while Stephanie and Nikki hug in the ring. "La Primera" raises Bella’s arm to end the segment.

Lyra Valkyria meets The Kabuki Warriors backstage. Furious, Asuka points out that they should be in tonight’s title match, not Lyra, who doesn’t deserve this opportunity. Valkyria makes it clear that she had nothing to do with it, but Asuka quickly interrupts her. After insulting her in Japanese, Asuka walks away. "Lyra, don’t...", Sane begins to say in a kind tone. "¡¡KAIRI!!", Asuka yells from afar. Sane and Valkyria freeze. Kairi quickly answers her partner’s call. Bayley appears on the scene. "What was that all about, mate?" asks "The Role Model" directly into Lyra’s ear, startling her. "What do you think that was about? About the mess you got us into!" replies the Irishwoman. Bayley downplays the Japanese duo’s threats. Meanwhile, she hands her partner a special jacket so they can match. Lyra reminds Bayley that she has never faced Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss before. Bayley knows that, but she also knows how much the Tag Team Championships mean to the Irishwoman. That said, she wonders what will happen if they lose. "You know what, Bayley — what if we win?" responds a confident Lyra. "The Role Model" quickly regains her enthusiasm, pointing out that this is the version of Valkyria she wanted to see. Both women attempt to high-five — or at least try — to end the segment.

Jimmy Uso approaches his brother Jey to confront him about what happened last week. Jimmy points out that Jey only thought about himself, as he made clear in his promo tonight. Jimmy reminds him that he helped him several times in the Royal Rumble because they were supposed to watch each other’s backs until they were the last two men in the ring. Only then were they supposed to face each other to see who was the better man. However, Jey’s actions showed that he didn’t believe he could win if it came to that. "If you really believed in yourself, you wouldn’t have been afraid to find out", says Jimmy before leaving. Jey remains silent.

Bron Breakker, Paul Heyman, and Bronson Reed make their entrance to the ring. Heyman grabs a microphone to introduce his partners during the commercial break.

Mysterio replies that he was just telling them it’s crazy to start a rivalry with Penta and Rusev. That said, he insists he had nothing to do with it. It was entirely Los Americanos’ idea, adding that now Penta and Rusev will focus on them. "But what about you?" asks Adam, before informing him that Rusev and Penta aren’t going after the masked men. "Penta and Rusev are coming after you. At Saturday Night's Main Event, you’ll defend this Intercontinental Championship against Penta and Rusev in a Triple Threat match. And that idea came from me alone," says the General Manager before leaving. "I don’t speak English," replies Dominik, in a futile attempt to avoid the inevitable.

Jey Uso approaches Jimmy backstage. Jey listened carefully to what his brother said earlier, and he just wants to make it clear that he loves him, and that will never change. However, Jimmy also said that he couldn’t take advantage of his opportunity. Jey did, so he shouldn’t blame him for that. Because right now, on the eve of the biggest match of his career, he doesn’t want his brother to think he’s betrayed him. Not when he has so much on his plate (Roman Reigns, The Vision, CM Punk) and so few people he can trust. "You feel me?" he asks. "I feel you," replies Jimmy. "Love you, man," says Jey, extending his hand. "Love you," replies Jimmy as he shakes his brother’s hand. They hug to make peace. With that issue settled, Jey walks away, ending the segment.

We move to Adam Pearce’s office, where the General Manager is seen congratulating Maxxine Dupri on her two consecutive victories over Becky Lynch. Pearce informs her that she has earned another opportunity for the Intercontinental Championship, so he just needs to know when she wants to have that match. Dupri thanks him for the opportunity but says she doesn’t want to waste it. Adam doesn’t understand. Maxxine assures him that she wants that match more than anything, but she feels she should consult a good friend to confirm if she’s truly ready for it. "When I’m ready — and I will be — I’ll step into that ring and take the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Becky Lynch’s waist. And then I’ll give her and the rest of the world one of the biggest surprises of their lives," promises Dupri. Pearce accepts Maxxine’s decision, assuring her that the match is official. So when she’s ready, she only needs to let him know. Dupri thanks him once again. They shake hands. "Deal," says Maxxine before leaving.

With that said, she asks why they accepted Bayley’s challenge. Alexa responds that they never turn down a challenge, no matter if it comes from a team from Raw, SmackDown, or NXT. Flair, for her part, points out that they are only two victories away from breaking the record for most title defenses with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The Kabuki Warriors interrupt the interview. Asuka reiterates that they are the ones who should be competing for the titles tonight, as Lyra Valkyria and Bayley don’t deserve it. In fact, Charlotte and Alexa don’t deserve it either. Flair reminds Asuka that they have a long history, but now she’s a different woman and would be happy to put the gold on the line against the Japanese duo. "I’ve changed too, and you’re not ready for Asuka," says "The Empress of Tomorrow" before leaving. Kairi Sane remains in front of the champions while "threatening" them with her umbrella. "KAIRI!!!" yells Asuka. "The Pirate Princess" quickly answers her partner’s call. Alexa and Charlotte stay silent as the segment comes to an end.

Byron Saxton interviews Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella in the crowd area. Nikki states that Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez need a reality check — they need someone to kick their asses. Vaquer says she’s tired of the Texans, whom she accuses of being cheaters. For that reason, they challenge them to a tag team match next week.

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are talking with Adam Pearce backstage. Styles reiterates to the Raw General Manager that 2026 will be the year of his retirement, but for now, he wants to focus all his efforts on the World Tag Team Championships. In fact, the new champions are eager to defend the gold, so they ask Pearce if he has any challengers in mind. Before Adam can answer, Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh appear. The Irishmen boast about what they did to Sheamus tonight. And now that they’ve dealt with him, they’re here for what was promised to them. Pearce scolds them for cheating to beat "The Celtic Warrior." And yet they still want a title shot? Styles steps in to say he doesn’t think it’s a bad idea, though admittedly the Irishmen don’t deserve a chance. Dragon Lee agrees with his partner. However, he has no problem showing the Irishmen that he and Styles are unstoppable next week. "Let me get this straight — you want a match against them next week?" asks Adam. "Of course we do," replies AJ Styles. "AJ, for you it’s official," says Pearce. "Best of luck," he adds to Finn and JD before leaving. Both teams face off. "See you next week, boys," says AJ. "I guess so," replies Finn. The champions walk away. "It’s going to be the shortest reign of your career, AJ!" shouts McDonagh. "And the only one for you!" he adds, mocking Lee. The segment ends there.

We see a new teaser featuring a red casino chip spinning on a table. Once it stops, we see the number 2026 printed on it.

The Japanese women head backstage, satisfied with their actions. Bayley helps Valkyria while Charlotte and Alexa remain laid out on the floor. Thus ends this week’s episode.
