The CW and Netflix will air a new episode of WWE NXT tonight, with Vic Joseph and Booker T at the commentary table, live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This will be the first show of the brand after NXT Halloween Havoc, and will feature several matches and segments of interest, including two title defenses.
On one hand, Kelani Jordan will defend the Knockouts World Championship against Jordynne Grace in an unprecedented match. On the other hand, the new WWE Evolve Champion Kendal Grey will put her brand's gold on the line against Lash Legend. Additionally, Jasper Troy and Axiom will compete for an opportunity at the WWE Speed Championship. As always, we invite you to comment on the post to give your opinion on what happened on the show.
WWE NXT on Netflix begins!
We see a video recap of NXT Halloween Havoc.
We see some of the protagonists of the night arriving at the venue: Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan... Suddenly, Trick Williams bursts into the production room to stop the technicians' work. Williams warns them not to touch anything. This is his house and things will be done his way. Trick leaves the room and heads towards the ring. Williams continues to shout, insult, and even push anyone he encounters while repeating over and over that NXT is his house and that Ricky Saints won't get away with it.
Trick finally reaches the ring. Once inside, he orders the fans to be silent. After that, he goes straight to Saints. "At Halloween Havoc, you gave me your best. And I gave you mine. 99 out of 100 times I would have beaten you", says Williams. He boasts of having destroyed Ricky at last weekend's PLE. And he will do it again, to show the world that "The Absolute" is nothing but a beggar. "Once again! Once again! I want my title match! I won't leave here until I get my title match!", he exclaims.
Ava enters the scene. Accompanied by two security guards, the General Manager heads to ringside. Ava reminds him that they have already talked about this. If Trick wants a new title shot, he will have to discuss it privately with her, because this tantrum won't get him anywhere. In addition, Ava doesn't understand what all this is about, as Trick cleanly lost at Halloween Havoc.
Williams interrupts Ava to make it clear that he is still the biggest superstar in NXT. The fans mock him. Trick recalls his victory in the Iron Survivor Challenge, as well as his wins over Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes, and Ethan Page. "Trick Williams is a badass! Let's talk about that!", he exclaims.
Saints soon bursts onto the entrance ramp. "Those are big words for someone who was defeated on Saturday!", exclaims "The Absolute" as he runs into the ring. Ricky and Trick start a fight. Security members quickly intervene to separate them, albeit with difficulty. And so we reach the end of the first segment of the night.
We see a promotional video starring Axiom and Jasper Troy, who will face each other in the final of the WWE Speed tournament.
Men's tournament for an opportunity at the WWE Speed Championship - Final
Axiom vs. Jasper Troy
Axiom quickly launches an attack, executing several kicks and punches on Troy. However, they don't seem to affect his opponent. The Spaniard unleashes a flurry of punches on Jasper in one of the corners. Troy responds by charging against his opponent into the opposite corner. After that, he performs a painful backbreaker on the Spaniard.
Axiom ends up on ringside. The masked man prepares to return, catching Jasper off guard, who already has one leg on the apron. Axiom doesn't miss the opportunity and applies a Dragon Screw. The Spaniard continues his offensive with a missile dropkick. Axiom keeps kicking Troy before going for the Golden Ratio, but Jasper prevents it. Axiom tries to submit Troy in a sleeper hold. Jasper breaks free to execute a clothesline. After that, Troy performs a bodyslam, followed by a Black Hole Slam. 1...2...3.
Winner: Jasper Troy (2:54)
Troy celebrates in the center of the ring under the watchful eyes of Bravo and American Ray
Ava talks with ZaRuca in her office. Ava has spoken with the doctor and he has informed her that Sol Ruca is recovering very well from her injury, which is great news. Ruca agrees. However, she still wears a brace on her knee. Ava points out that they still don't know when Sol will be medically cleared, so she wants to talk about the future of her Women's WWE Speed Championship. "I know things didn't go as planned on Saturday, so I was wondering if you still want someone to defend that or...", asks the General Manager. Sol looks at her belt, then at Zaria, and back at her title. "No. I don't think so. This division needs a champion who can fight. So I'll leave it vacant", Ruca replies. " Are you serious?", asks a disappointed Zaria. Ava wants to make sure that Sol really wants to do it. Ruca replies that she wants to focus 100% on her recovery to return to action as soon as possible and regain the two titles that, to begin with, she has never lost. Upset, Zaria leaves the office. Sol hands the belt to Ava. She understands Ruca's decision, informing her of the celebration of a tournament to crown a new champion. With that said, Ava asks her to take it easy and not overexert herself to return as soon as possible, because she doesn't want to see her injured again. And so we reach the end of this segment.
The Culling (Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, Shawn Spears, and Niko Vance) make their entrance. "Tatum, Tatum!" chant the fans to welcome the new NXT Women's Champion. "You deserve it!" the audience cheers before Paxley can speak. "Well... WE DID IT!", exclaims Paxley. She confesses that she has dreamed of this moment many times. Tatum affirms that Halloween Havoc was the best night of her life. But this is not about her, but about the title. Paxley acknowledges that opportunities, especially for women like her, are scarce. But she knew how to take advantage of the opportunity she had. And she knows she can be a bit weird, maybe even spooky. "But if this little spooky weirdo can be the NXT Champion, then anyone can", says Tatum. And that's the reason why she wants to be a champion who gives opportunities to all the women in the locker room.
Izzi interrupts Tatum. Dame admits that she is surprised, as she did not expect her partner to be this type of champion. Izzi suggests that she not give away opportunities, as that will only result in losing the title as quickly as she won it. Dame reminds her that it took her four years to reach the top of the division. In all that time, she had several opportunities, and always failed in the attempt. So she wants to make sure that Paxley really wants to do this. Because if it were her, she would make sure that the rest of the women earn their opportunity just like Tatum did.
Paxley takes the floor, insisting that her reign will be incredible. With that said, she addresses the fans. "I heard you were upset because we didn't have the roulette at Halloween Havoc. I missed it too. That's why I brought it back, with a twist. I'm going to spin the roulette, and the name it lands on will be the name of the girl who will have a shot at the NXT Women's Championship, tonight!", exclaims Tatum before leaving the ring.
Dame, Spears, and Vance follow their partner to the top of the entrance ramp. Tatum removes a black cloth to reveal the roulette. In it, we see the names of twelve talents from NXT, Evolve, and WWE LFG (Wendy Choo, Zaria, Lola Vice, Tyra Mae Steele, Kali Armstrong, Thea Hail, Jaida Parker, Nikkita Lyons, Wren Sinclair, Arianna Grace, Dani Sekelsky, and Karmen Petrovic). Izzi doesn't think this is a good idea. "Izzi, your name isn't there," says Spears. "Of course your name isn't there. You and I would never compete for this title. I won't let anything come between us", says Tatum. "I don't want anything to come between us either, but are you sure you want to do this?", Dame asks in a desperate attempt to get her partner to give up this idea. "I'm going to spin this roulette," replies Tatum before fulfilling her wish. The roulette stops at the name of Lola Vice. "Yes! Lola Vice! I'm so happy for her! Tonight it will be Lola Vice against Tatum Paxley for the NXT Championship!", exclaims Paxley before raising the title. Visibly nervous, her partners applaud her. And so we reach the end of this segment.
We see a furious Trick Williams looking for Ricky Saints backstage. Williams asks OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price), but they don't respond. "I don't have time for this," says Williams before continuing his search. Nearby are Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey. The former asks her friend if she's ready. "You've asked me like ten times in the last fifteen minutes," Grey replies. Wren knows, but Lash Legend, her opponent tonight, is big and strong. Kendal wonders if Sinclair is trying to encourage her or make her nervous. Grey knows that Lash is one of the most dominant women in NXT, but that won't stop her from achieving what she sets out to do: defeat her opponent and put Kendal Grey's name on the map. Wren knows she will. Sinclair changes the subject to ask about No Quarter Catch Crew. Kendal points out that they will talk about it later, as her match is up next. Wren understands. Grey picks up her championship and prepares to head to the ring. Suddenly, she stops. "Are you coming or what?", she asks Sinclair. "Do you want me to go out there with you?", asks Wren. "Of course. We're in this together," replies the WWE Evolve Champion. Excited, Sinclair picks up her jacket to accompany her friend. Together they head to the ring.
Match for the WWE Evolve Women's Championship
Kendal Grey (c) (with Wren Sinclair) vs. Lash Legend
Lash and Kendal grapple. Grey tries to catch Legend in an Ankle Lock, but the latter reaches the ropes to force her to release the hold. Lash kicks Kendal before knocking her down with a back elbow. After that, she traps her in a headlock. Without letting go, Legend spins her opponent as if she were a helicopter. Lash catches the champion with a claw before violently throwing her out of the ring.
Kendal returns to continue the fight. Lash hits Grey against the canvas repeatedly. Kendal dodges an elbow drop before attempting a foot stomp with the help of the ropes. Legend blocks the attack with her hands to push her opponent out of the ring. Lash goes after her to knock her out with a big boot. Grey returns to the ring, only to fall into Legend's clutches, who punishes her with the ropes' help.
Lash continues to strike Kendal. She tries to react, but her opponent doesn't allow it. Legend catches Grey to hit her head against the ropes. After that, she finishes her off with a powerslam. 1..2..NO. Legend performs an elbow drop directly on Grey's back. Lash throws her against one of the corners. Grey delivers several kicks, but Legend responds with a tremendous right hand.

Kendal breaks free from her opponent to deliver several attacks. Lash grabs Grey by her suspenders to prevent her from bouncing off the ropes. After that, she knocks her out with a new right hand.
Lash crushes the champion in one of the corners. Kendal responds with a springboard crossbody, followed by a direct dropkick to the face. Both women lie on the canvas. Kendal recovers to launch a quick offensive. Grey blocks a chokeslam to respond with a german suplex. Kendal knocks down Lash before applying a foot stomp. Lash ends up on ringside, Grey goes after her. Legend recovers, stopping a charge from the champion to throw her over the apron. However, Kendal surprises Lash with a DDT.
Grey brings her back into the ring. The champion climbs to the top turnbuckle to dive onto her opponent. Legend stops her in mid-air before dropping her onto the top rope. Lash seeks a big boot, but the champion dodges it, causing the former's leg to get caught in one of the corners. Grey finishes off Lash with a Flatliner. 1..2..3.
Winner and STILL WWE Evolve Women's Champion: Kendal Grey
Kendal and Wren celebrate the victory in the center of the ring with the NQCC's characteristic gesture.
Myles Borne and Tavion Heights share their feelings before their match tonight. Both make it clear that they respect each other as brothers and that it will always be that way, no matter what happens tonight.
We see Tatum Paxley walking backstage. Lola Vice approaches her to congratulate her on her victory at Halloween Havoc. Both women hug. Tatum informs Lola that she has been chosen to face her for the NXT Women's Championship. Vice knows, and she is grateful to have the opportunity to win a title that she would have conquered at No Mercy if it weren't for Lainey Reid. That's why, as happy as she is for Tatum's success, tonight she will have to knock her out to take the gold away. "Lola, I love your passion, really. But you have to understand me. I've worked hard for this and it won't end so quickly. It won't be you, and it won't be tonight", Paxley replies. "We'll see," says Lola. Izzi Dame appears on the scene. Worried, she asks if everything is okay. Tatum replies yes. Vice leaves. "Tatum, I have to tell you something: I don't know if pressuring Lola is the best idea", says Dame. "Why? Everything is fine. Let's go", replies a cheerful Paxley as she leaves the place. And so we reach the end of this segment.
Tavion Heights vs. Myles Borne
Both men show mutual respect before starting the match. Tavion catches Myles in a headlock. Borne frees himself to apply his own headlock. Heights escapes to start a new phase of the match, where both wrestlers seek a quick victory. Borne and Heights laugh as they shake hands. Borne surprises Heights with an inverted springboard DDT. 1..2..NO. Tavion traps Myles in an Ankle Lock. Borne breaks free by throwing Heights into one of the corners.
Tavion stops Myles’ next attack with a belly-to-belly suplex. 1..2..NO. Heights leaves the ring to confront Josh. “You’re next!” shouts Tavion before returning to the ring. Briggs takes off his headset and climbs onto the apron to taunt Heights, but he quickly gets rid of him with a right hand. Myles takes advantage by sending Tavion out of the ring with a clothesline. Then he dives onto both men with a crossbody. Back inside the ring, Borne blocks a Belly-to-Belly to cover his opponent. 1..2..3.
Winner: Myles Borne
Heights congratulates his partner on the victory. Both men hug as a sign of respect. At that moment, Briggs grabs Tavion by the legs to drag him out of the ring, starting a brawl that heads backstage. Myles watches the scene from inside the ring. Suddenly, Trick Williams storms into the ring to attack Borne from behind with a steel chair. Myles ends up at ringside.
Trick demands a microphone. “Saints, now you’re gonna hear what I have to say! If you’re scared, say it, but give me my title back! Are you stupid? You’ll never beat Trick Williams!” he yells. “The Absolute” rushes into the ring from the side, surprising Williams. A new fight breaks out, once again having to be stopped by security staff.
We see Chelsea Green (with Alba Fyre) walking backstage alongside Ethan Page. Green congratulates Page for his title defense at Halloween Havoc, admitting she almost threw up when “All Ego” tore part of El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.’s mask. Ethan tells her not to vomit, since they have a big match this Sunday for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships. Green imagines both of them raising the titles. Ethan wonders how two huge superstars like them will look covered in so much gold. However, he’s also concerned about safety in Mexico. Alba assures Ethan that everything is under control. Page seems satisfied with that, though he wonders about the posters Chelsea has been putting up everywhere. Green replies that she’s still searching for a new member for The Secret Hervice, but she can’t just hire anyone. She’s searched everywhere, from London to Paris. “...And Tokyo. I Believe in Joe Hendry,” sings Thea Hail, who happens to walk by. Alba quickly moves to protect Chelsea, as...
Say his name and he's appear!
Joe Hendry appears inside a trash container. The Scotsman advises Green and Page not to celebrate before defeating Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra. Page says he doesn’t take advice from guys who show up inside garbage bins. Chelsea, meanwhile, promises the Scotsman that the next time he sees them, they’ll be the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions. With that said, Green, Page, and Fyre leave. Thea returns. “Come on, Joe!” she says before grabbing the container. Hail rolls the container away (with Hendry still inside) while singing the Scotsman’s song. Thus ends this segment.

Meanwhile, we see the arrival of Fatal Influence at the arena. Tatum slides across the mat to avoid a kick from Lola. Suddenly, the challenger notices something: Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid, and Fallon Henley burst onto the scene. The heels ambush Dame, violently throwing her into the steel steps. Fatal Influence take position on the apron. Lola and Tatum stand back-to-back in the center of the ring, ready for a fight. The heels quickly enter to launch a three-on-two assault.
Match ends in no contest
Jayne, Henley, and Reid get rid of Lola before unleashing a flurry of attacks on Paxley. Fallon and Lainey hold Tatum in place so Jacy can knock her out with a Rolling Encore. Fatal Influence pose over their victims to end the segment.
Blake Monroe delivers a video promo from her bathtub. Next to her is the NXT North American Women’s Championship. The British star recalls her victory at Halloween Havoc, boasting about having ripped the soul out of Sol Ruca when she defeated her friend Zaria to win the gold. “This North American Championship isn’t just mine. It’s my mirror. It reflects the envy, the scandal, and the obsession that follow me wherever I go. And to all the women in that locker room who still harbor hopes for this title, remember this: when you chase glamour, Hell is never too far away,” says the champion. “I’m not your heroine. I’m the reminder that beauty can bleed and still smile while doing it. Every step I take, every time you see me with this title, it’s a warning that I can take what you love most and make it mine. Isn’t that right, Sol?” With that, she announces that her first title defense will take place in the most fitting stage for her: the city of New York. “When the lights shine on me there, when the world thinks it’s ready to see The Glamour in all her splendor, it’ll already be too late. Because nothing shines and fades with more intensity than Blake Monroe, and under the starlight, the curse will live forever,” says “The Glamour” to end her promo.

Dion Lennox mocks Je'Von, who doesn’t have his new friend by his side — the same one with whom he defeated Mr. Iguana and La Parka at Halloween Havoc. However, DarkState defeated one of the greatest teams of all time. Evans promises them that once Leon finishes his business in TNA, he’ll return to NXT, and together they’ll kick their asses. Shaqon Shugars tells Je'Von that they fear no one. With that, he challenges him to a one-on-one match next week. That way, he’ll see if he deserves a title shot. Je'Von doesn’t hesitate to accept. “You’re gonna get your ass kicked,” says a smiling Lennox as he walks away with his teammates.

Zaria interrupts her partner to express her intention to take part in the WWE Women’s Speed Championship tournament, promising Sol that she’ll win back the title for both of them. Fatal Influence interrupt the interview. Jacy tells Ruca and Zaria to shut up, reminding them they’re not the only ones who’ve lost a championship. “I’ve been ignored for far too long and I’ve worked too hard to lose my title like this. Lola, Tatum, Izzi — see you next week!” exclaims Jayne before pushing the camera out of her way.

The referee returns to make the count. 1..2..3.
Winner and STILL TNA Knockouts! World Champion: Kelani Jordan
Saints and Williams continue wreaking havoc at ringside. Trick takes out several security members just before Ricky charges at him. Both men crash through a wall. “Holy Shit!” chant the fans. Williams and Saints return, ready to keep fighting. “ENOUGH! THAT’S ENOUGH!” yells an enraged Ava as she approaches. The General Manager announces that both men will be able to destroy each other, just as they want, when they face off in a Last Man Standing Match in two weeks. Ricky and Trick resume their fight, dodging security to do so. Thus ends this week’s episode of NXT.
