After it was confirmed yesterday that WWE has about 60 talents linked to the internal roster of Lucha Libre AAA as part of the acquisition process of the Mexican company, new details have been revealed today about which names appear on that list.
According to PWInsider Elite, several female wrestlers are included in the internal roster of AAA under the umbrella of WWE. This does not necessarily mean that all of them have direct contracts with WWE, but they do form part of the internal structure that the American company is using to coordinate the integration of AAA into its system.
The wrestlers are classified by their on-screen alignment, distinguishing between technicos (babyfaces) and rudos (heels). The list, ordered alphabetically, is as follows:
Babyface wrestlers
Heel wrestlers
Sources close to the situation clarify that the inclusion of these names does not necessarily imply that all of them are under WWE contract, but rather that they are part of the internal coordination system with AAA, used for managing appearances and planning joint events.
The acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA by WWE remains one of the most relevant business moves of the year in professional wrestling. Meanwhile, WWE continues to adjust the details of the agreement and prepare for the upcoming AAA events, including Guerra de Titanes, which will take place on December 20 at the Arena Guadalajara.
