Tubi has aired episode 35 of WWE Evolve early this morning, the new show starring the developing talent of the company. The matches of the show were recorded a few weeks ago at the WWE Performance Center. The episode featured two matches and several segments, highlighting the introduction of four new talents, including PJ Vasa, who attacked the new WWE Evolve Champion in the main segment of the night.
In this news, we will provide the quick results of the show and the full video of the show when it becomes available.
- Masyn Holiday defeated Jin in a singles match.
- A video was shown featuring a new therapy session with Wendy Choo. She revealed the moment she saw light at the end of the anger tunnel she was living in. "When I saw AJ Lee talk about therapy on Raw, it was the first time in a long time that I felt hope," she said. "Now I understand. I couldn't move forward because I didn't have compassion or understanding. I wasn't connected with myself. But all that is going to change. And everyone, including Chantel Monroe, will see a new version of Wendy Choo."
- Three recruits from the WWE ID program were introduced as new talents of Evolve: Mike Cunningham (trained by Cody Rhodes at The Nightmare Factory), Jha'Quan McNair, and Eli Knight (a Reality of Wrestling wrestler trained by Booker T and Ace Steele). Brooks Jensen interrupted the presentation to mock them all. Cunningham stepped forward and challenged him to a match that same night. "Don't make me humiliate you," Jensen replied before leaving.
- Aaron Rourke starred in a new promotional video.
- The Vanity Project as a whole went to Stevie Turner's office so Jackson Drake could explain to Evolve's "Prime Minister" that he needed to settle his issue with Keanu Carver once and for all. Turner suggested he end his story with his enemy in the ring, but Jackson refused to fight him. Stevie then informed him that Carver is in a cast, but still medically cleared to compete. With that, she announced that he will defend the WWE Evolve Championship against Carver in two weeks.
- Tate Wilder defeated Marcus Mathers and Laredo Kid in a triple threat match.
- Chantel Monroe delivered a promo in response to Wendy Choo's latest video. Monroe accepted the challenge to face Choo, promising to slap some sense into her.
- It's Gal presented a new edition of "Stud-o-Meter", this time focusing on various legendary teams. In it, she rated The Steiner Brothers 9.3 and The Dudley Boyz 6.8. Afterward, she acknowledged that she needs a new training partner because she's losing shape minute by minute.
- Harley Riggins and Jax Presley were featured in a new promotional video before their rematch against Adrenaline Drip.
- Kendal Grey and Carlee Bright took the stage for the main segment of the night. Kendal delivered her first promo as the new WWE Evolve Women's Champion. After praising Kali Armstrong, Grey stated that her rise to the top of this division was due to perseverance. At that moment, PJ Vasa (formerly known as Penina Tuilaepa) stormed the scene to attack both women. This led to the end of the show.
