The return of Roman Reigns to WWE as the "Tribal Chief" marked the beginning of one of the most extensive storylines with numerous plots and twists in the history of the company. Over the past five years, many talents have been part of this epic tale, giving rise to two major factions like The Bloodline and MFT, which have mainly operated on the SmackDown brand.
Meanwhile, the company is developing new ideas to further expand these stories. Recently, WWE has filed for the trademark "Tribal Heir," which could be used as a nickname for one of the key players in this storyline.
At this point, it seems likely that this trademark is related to Jey Uso, who in recent weeks has shown a change in attitude more aligned with Roman Reigns, "The Original Tribal Chief." In fact, Roman Reigns could give his blessing for his cousin to take the reins of the family as a preliminary step before handing over the absolute leadership as the rightful "Tribal Chief."
It seems less likely that the trademark is related to Solo Sikoa, who has found a new family to lead in MFT after being expelled from "The Bloodline" following his defeat in the civil war against Roman Reigns. Additionally, Sikoa has stopped using the "Tribal" concept in favor of repeatedly using "Family," making Jey Uso the most plausible option.
In any case, it remains to be seen what plans WWE has for this trademark in the near future, and whether they will ultimately push Jey Uso as the new "Tribal Chief" once Roman Reigns passes the torch to his cousin. Considering the success of "Main Event" with the fans, perhaps the company sees him as the most logical candidate to carry one of the most important nicknames in recent years.
