The conflict between Miranda Alize, Nixon Newell, and the AEW Collision team continues to escalate. After both wrestlers explained on Twitch their decision not to participate in their match on November 1st, new voices from the locker room have shared their version of the events, casting even more doubts on how everything really unfolded.

Internal sources pointed out to Fightful Select that even Bryan Danielson had spoken with both wrestlers and was not satisfied with how the match was handled. However, Newell vehemently denied this claim, stating that they have never met Danielson and labeling that information as "false."

Several female wrestlers from the AEW and ROH roster also expressed their discontent with the situation, confessing that they would have even taken advantage of three minutes on television within Collision, something that Newell and Alize rejected arguing that this time did not benefit anyone.

According to sources, the internal atmosphere worsened when Miranda Alize posted the message “We have a loooot to explain” even before Collision began, accompanied by retweets criticizing its use in the programming. Within the company, they believe that, although the situation could have ended cordially, the tweet generated a bigger problem inside and outside the locker room.

It was also revealed that Newell had conversations with another independent company earlier this year to return to regular work, but the negotiations had "gone wrong" due to certain unspecified demands.

Regarding an indie show where it was said that Newell left the venue before a scheduled run-in, it has been confirmed that it was a confusion between promoter and talent. Newell insisted that she was not informed until after her match, at which point she notified that she had to leave because her flight was departing in an hour.
