WWE does not plan to abandon its most emblematic events, despite TKO's recent comments about the need to evolve beyond Vince McMahon's legacy. The company is clear that its historic brands continue to be the cornerstone of its annual calendar.

Mark Shapiro, president of TKO, recently explained that the company must "take the baton and move forward even further" from the premium events created under the McMahon era. His words generated concern among fans, who wondered if iconic events like Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, or SummerSlam could be replaced by new proposals.

According to Fightful, on their Patreon pay channel, WWE's intention is for WrestlePalooza to establish itself as a major annual event that complements the calendar, but without replacing the historic ones. The idea would be to elevate its level to strengthen domestic sales and offset revenues when shows like Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, or Money in the Bank are held outside the United States.

Saudi Arabia is not paying for WrestlePalooza, they are paying for WrestleMania, and the value of that name and brand is the reason for it.

Sources within the company added that cities like Indianapolis and New Orleans already have future commitments to host WrestleMania and SummerSlam beyond what is currently announced. This reinforces WWE's intention to keep its main franchises intact.

With this strategy, WWE seeks to balance innovation with tradition, ensuring that its new projects do not overshadow the legacy of the events that defined its history. However, fans are not very satisfied with the company's recent decisions, especially with the celebration of WrestleMania and Royal Rumble in Saudi territory.
