Chavo Guerrero has confirmed his return to WWE, this time in a behind-the-scenes role, where he will collaborate in the production of the upcoming events of the alliance between the American company and the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA.

In a recent interview with Bill Apter, Guerrero revealed that he has signed a new agreement with WWE, putting an end to months of rumors about his possible return. His role will focus on coordinating the creative part of the joint events, a key step in the company's global expansion.

“Yes, I just signed back with WWE. I'm helping with the AAA shows and getting everything ready. I'm back with them.

The 55-year-old veteran wrestler had been seen in June during the WWE x AAA: Worlds Collide event, sparking speculation about his involvement with the company. Now, the confirmation comes at a strategic moment, just when WWE is looking to consolidate its presence in Latin America and strengthen the cultural bond with Mexican wrestling.

Over the past year, Chavo has remained active in the industry, working with AAA, TNA, GCW and various independent promotions, as well as getting involved in film and television projects. His return represents an important move for WWE, which aims to merge American wrestling with the traditional essence of Lucha Libre.

Chavo Guerrero belongs to one of the most respected families in the history of wrestling. He debuted in WCW in the nineties, where he starred in a memorable rivalry with his uncle Eddie Guerrero and excelled in the cruiserweight division. His style combined the agility of Lucha Libre with the intensity of American wrestling, making him one of the pillars of that generation.

After the acquisition of WCW by WWE, Chavo continued his legacy within the company, where he reached the top as a cruiserweight champion and was part of one of the most beloved duos alongside Eddie. Later on, he solidified his name by participating in memorable storylines with figures like Rey Mysterio and Vickie Guerrero, showcasing his abilities in the role of a villain.
