John Cena continues the countdown to his definitive retirement, and his stop in Boston, his hometown, was one of the most emotional moments of his farewell tour. In what will be his last Raw as an active wrestler in Massachusetts, the audience witnessed not only a ring legend, but also an icon whose personal legacy transcends the squared circle.

The Boston Herald dedicated a special report to his visit, gathering testimonies from colleagues who wanted to highlight the more human side of the 17-time world champion. Among them, Natalya shared a story about the role Cena played when her husband, TJ Wilson, suffered the injury that ended his career.

John is a good friend and a great person. When TJ got injured, he was one of the first to call. During his recovery, he talked to him, listened to him, and even took us out to dinner. It was an emotional and traumatic process, but John made TJ feel accompanied.

Wilson, known in WWE as Tyson Kidd, suffered a serious cervical injury in 2015 during an untelevised match against Samoa Joe. That impact forced him to retire from the ring forever, starting a new stage as a producer in the company. And as his career took a different direction, Cena became an unexpected pillar during the most challenging months.

Cena's farewell tour is coming to an end. After his stop in Boston, he only has three appearances left before closing a career that left its mark on an entire generation. His last stop on Raw will be next Monday, November 17, when he will bid his final farewell from Madison Square Garden, one of the most iconic wrestling venues. Subsequently, he will compete in Survivor Series and say goodbye on the Saturday Night's Main Event show on December 13.
