SmackDown is gearing up for a real elimination war. The episode on Friday, November 28, just before Survivor Series, will feature a 5-on-5 match in the traditional style of the event, after the tension between Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa finally exploded this week.
The story began when Zayn, still feeling the effects of The MFTs' attack, stepped into the ring to confront his enemies once again. Solo Sikoa stated that he wouldn't touch him again until he was medically cleared, but Zayn responded with the surprise of the night: he has already been cleared and came accompanied.
Next, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, and the Motor City Machine Guns appeared to even the odds and support Zayn against Sikoa's group. The fight broke out at ringside, and that's when SmackDown's general manager, Nick Aldis, made the final decision.
Five on five. Elimination. The week before Survivor Series.
Thus, Aldis formalized a match that promises to be a real free-for-all: Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, Chris Sabin, and Alex Shelley against Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Mateo.
