Since his return to WWECody Rhodes has not stopped contributing to the company. "The American Nightmare" has not only been involved in some of the most important storylines in recent years, but has also become the face of the company, one of the biggest heroes of the audience (especially the younger fans), and of course, its top champion.

For all these reasons, it seems more than evident that Rhodes has a secure place in the WWE Hall of Fame. But he won't be the only Hall of Fame he will be part of. Wrestling Observer has just inducted him into their own Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2025, alongside Spyros Arion, Gran Hamada, Dorrell Dixon, CM Punk, Sabu, Bobby Bruns, and promoter Raoul Paoli.

Rhodes expressed his gratitude for the induction with a post on X. In it, he shared a heart emoji and a GIF of a field goal in a Cincinnati Bearcats game (remember that Cody has proclaimed himself the "quarterback" of WWE), accompanied by the message "We are just getting started".

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame (WON HOF) was created in 1996. Inductions are voted on by reporters, historians, and professionals (both current and retired) from the wrestling industry, divided into several categories. To be inducted, a candidate needs 60% of the votes from the region they are listed in. Rhodes received support from 64.4% of the voters in the "United States and Canada Modern" category. CM Punk received 65.5% in the same region.

Thus, both superstars join great wrestlers and legends like Ric Flair, Stone Cold, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, John Cena, The Rock, Eddie Guerrero, Sting, Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles, Antonio Inoki, Kazuchika Okada, Negro Casas, El Santo, Blue Demon, and many more.

Cody Rhodes and CM Punk will team up with The Usos to face The Vision, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre in the men's WarGames at Survivor Series. This will be the second WarGames for both and the first time they will compete as a team in front of the cameras in their current WWE stages.
