After several months out of action and with no references on television, Tony D'Angelo has reappeared in the WWE NXT environment. Although he has not wrestled since July nor has been mentioned in recent programs, his presence this week in Orlando has sparked some movement in the hallways of the developmental brand.

According to Fightful Select, the wrestler was backstage during the recording of the episode on November 11th. However, he was not dressed to train or record any content, suggesting that it was simply a visit.

"We hadn't seen him all this time. It was a pleasant surprise to have him back backstage," commented internal sources working at the Performance Center.

D'Angelo, who remains under contract with WWE, had been considered this summer for a potential promotion to the main roster, but no firm steps were taken in that direction and three months later, his situation remains a mystery.

What's going on with Tony D?

Without an official confirmation regarding his medical or creative status, the reappearance of The Don of NXT could indicate a possible return or a change of direction, although there are no further details at the moment. What is clear is that his absence has been long and his immediate future, still uncertain.
