Sheamus has once again shown his commitment to promoting emerging talent, and this time he has showered praise on one of the names making waves in NXT: Je'Von Evans.
In a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, the Irish wrestler talked about his experience competing in NXT's house shows, where on November 13th he faced Evans in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Regardless of the outcome, Sheamus was impressed by the 21-year-old's talent.
Not only can he do athletic things, he looks like he's bouncing on the moon, as if he's wearing anti-gravity boots. He took a beating and dished it out, and you can tell he's excited to be there. He's 21, it's incredible.
The "Celtic Warrior" also highlighted Evans' physical evolution: "He's gained muscle, gotten stronger without losing agility. Plus, he's always smiling, he's happy to be there."
Je'Von Evans has not gone unnoticed in recent months. He has had high-level matches in NXT, including a bout against Randy Orton. Additionally, he will be part of WWE Raw tonight as part of The Last Time Is Now tournament, where he will face none other than a returning Gunther. Meanwhile, Sheamus has already advanced to the second round of the tournament.
