Zack Ryder sweeps WWE Shop sales after his surprise return

Zack Ryder did not need a full-time contract to make an impact on his return to WWE. Despite it being a one-night return, his impact was immediate: his new t-shirts are among the best-selling on WWEShop, rivaling those of full-time contracted talents.

Ryder returned on November 14 on SmackDown, facing off against LA Knight in The Last Time Is Now tournament. Although he was defeated, the fans' reaction was resounding. The wrestler, who has been building his brand for years as Matt Cardona on the independent circuit, shared that his three new t-shirts are leading the sales chart.

I don't know how accurate the best-sellers filter is on @WWEShop, but it shows that Zack Ryder's 3 new t-shirts are the top sellers.

In a humorous tone, Ryder even winked at another colleague: "(I won't let it get to my head like it did to @realKILLERkross)".

Grateful for the support, Ryder did not miss the opportunity to invite more fans to join the movement: "Thank you for the support. It is greatly appreciated. If you haven't already, consider buying one of the new t-shirts."

Sources confirmed that, for now, his return was temporary and that he does not have a signed contract with WWE. However, with this level of response, and a loyal fan base, it wouldn't be surprising to see him appear again. After all, his t-shirt is flying off the shelves as if he had never left.
