Ring of Honor announces the first matches for ROH Final Battle 2025

As it is tradition, Ring of Honor will close the year with a new edition of Final Battle. Last night, during the broadcast of the latest weekly episode of the brand, the company announced the first matches for the PPV, which this year will take place in Columbus, Ohio.

Of note, a new defense of the ROH Women's World Championship will feature the current titleholder, Athena, against Persephone. It was Persephone who issued a direct challenge to the champion, reminding her that she had previously defeated her at the ROH x CMLL Global Wars: Mexico event.

Athena accepted the challenge before Diamanté surprised the challenger with an attack. The champion took advantage of the situation and smashed Persephone's face against her title belt to remind her that ROH is her home. With the match now set, CMLL's talent will try to end the historic reign of "The Fallen Goddess," which already spans 1,077 days.

On the other hand, Shayne Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Shawn Dean, and Carlie Bravo) will defend the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin, and Darius Martin). The match comes after Scorpio Sky thwarted an assault by the champions on his partners.

ROH Supercard of Honor will take place on December 5 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. The show can be watched live from the stands or through a subscription on the Honor Club platform. Below is an update on the list of confirmed matches.
