Live Report of WWE SmackDown November 21, 2025

WWE SmackDown starts on Netflix!

We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Finn Bálor, JD McDonagh, Penta, and The Vision (along with Logan Paul).

We see a video recap of the latest episodes of SmackDown and Raw, with The Vision presenting Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar as members of his WarGames team, as well as the return of Roman Reigns.

The Vision (Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman) and Logan Paul are the ones to open tonight's show. The fans boo the faction as Heyman takes the mic. The WWE Hall of Famer reminds that in WarGames five of his heroes will be locked in a double steel cage, where Breakker will bite their butts. Five main eventers who will receive Tsunami after Tsunami. Five heroes and main eventers who will learn that in WarGames you need to have a violent and ruthless strategy. "A strategy that shows that you are a miserable and rotten human being. That you are the lowest scum on planet Earth. Something so repugnant that even the Devil would sell his soul to you so that, when you die and go to hell, there is no competition in running the business," says Heyman. With that said, he hands the mic to a man who fits this description perfectly: Logan Paul. The fans boo the YouTuber intensely. "The Maverick" tells them to shut up, pointing out that he has a lot to say. However...

UUUUUSSSSOOOOO!

The Usos interrupt the segment. Jimmy and Jey stop at the entrance ramp to address their enemies. Jey makes it clear that no one wants to hear what Logan has to say. With that said, he goes straight to Heyman to remind him of what happened on Monday Night Raw. Heyman takes the floor to make it clear that he made a big mistake by angering "The Maverick." After that, he reminds the Samoans that when he created The Bloodline, he tried to make sure that both could live well without needing to do it in Roman Reigns' shadow. And not only that, he also tried to teach them the importance of having numerical advantage. "OTC, OTC!" chant the fans. "He's not here! He's never here!" exclaims Breakker. Heyman does a brief recount. They are four and The Usos are only two. "You are at a numerical disadvantage, which means your butts are about to be kicked. Or are you just damn stupid?," asks Heyman. "CM Punk, CM Punk!" chants the crowd. Jimmy assures Paul that they learned very well from him. Did he really think they would come alone?

"Kingdom" starts playing in the venue. The fans go wild. However, Cody Rhodes does not appear on stage. Jimmy and Jey start to worry. At that moment, the venue screen shows Cody's bus. From inside it, Drew McIntyre gets off. Behind him, we see Rhodes lying on the ground, semi-unconscious and with a head wound. The Usos run to the parking lot, where a company worker is already assisting the champion. And so we reach the end of this segment.

We come back from commercial to see Cody being attended to by the WWE medical team. Nick Aldis is there, as well as The Usos. A car stops next to them. Behind the wheel is Drew McIntyre. "See you at WarGames, champion!," he exclaims before accelerating to leave the place.

Ilja Dragunov makes his entrance. Once in the ring, he awaits a challenger for his United States Championship.

JD McDonagh answers the challenge!

United States Championship Match
Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. JD McDonagh

Both men grapple, taking the action to one of the corners. The referee (Daphanie LaShaunn) orders McDonagh to separate from the champion. JD obeys, only to throw a punch to the Russian's stomach. He responds with a tremendous big boot. JD takes Dragunov to the ropes, where he applies a chop. McDonagh throws the champion against the ropes, causing him to hit his face against them. Ilja falls to ringside, where he holds his face in pain.

Dragunov goes for a powerbomb, but JD blocks it. McDonagh applies a suplex on Ilja, a move that ends with both falling over the third rope. "Holy Shit!" chant the fans.

Both men manage to return to the ring before LaShaunn counts to 10. JD traps Ilja in a painful submission hold. The Russian frees himself, only to receive a jawbreaker. 1..2..NO. JD kicks Dragunov, who responds with an incessant rain of chops. McDonagh recovers to execute a suplex on Dragunov. After that, he looks for height on one of the corners. Dragunov continues with a powerbomb to finish off his opponent with a definitive H-Bomb. 1..2..3.

Winner and STILL United States Champion: Ilja Dragunov

We see Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair walking backstage while commenting on what happened last Monday. "You know what? I'm very proud of you, and very grateful," says Bliss. "I did it just for you. That doesn't mean I trust anyone else. You know that, right?," Flair responds. Alexa is aware of that. Bliss opens a door, asking Charlotte to look inside. There we see Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. "Really?," asks a surprised Charlotte. Alexa pushes her companion inside while she grumbles. "Rhea and you must have a little chat. Have fun," says Bliss before leaving. "IYO, can you give us a minute, please?," Ripley asks the Japanese. She stands up and leaves the place. Rhea approaches Charlotte. Both look at each other in silence as the segment comes to an end.

Cathy Kelley interviews Nick Aldis in front of the venue's infirmary. The SmackDown General Manager regrets not being able to give details about Cody Rhodes' condition, as he is still being attended to by the medical team. Suddenly, something catches his attention. Aldis apologizes to Kelley and heads towards the position where The Vision members are. Bron Breakker confronts Aldis. Paul Heyman convinces his partner to move away from the General Manager. He doesn't know what Heyman has planned, but it's nothing good. With that said, he wants to make something clear. The only reason Bronson Reed is in the venue is because he has a match in the Last Time is Now tournament tonight. For that reason, he is tied in this matter. Something that also happens in the case of Drew McIntyre's suspension because Heyman included him in his WarGames team. "But Paul, this is not WarGames. This is SmackDown. And as far as I'm concerned, Drew McIntyre is still a persona non grata on this show," says Nick. Heyman understands. That's why McIntyre is not in this venue, but outside of it. Furthermore, he asked him to leave to respect Aldis' authority. And as for Reed, the only help he needs is to find opponents as stupid as Carmelo Hayes to face him. "Have a good show," says Paul as he extends his hand to Aldis. The latter ignores it. Heyman then decides to shake Breakker's hand. After that, he indicates to his companions that it's time to leave. And so we reach the end of this segment.

A sore Ilja Dragunov meets Tama Tonga backstage. "He's coming," says the Tongan before leaving. The Russian continues walking to meet Tommaso Ciampa. "Don't worry about him. Right now, you're looking at the guy who will snatch that title from you," says Ciampa. He points out that he got lucky, as he was supposed to be his opponent tonight. If that were the case, the title would already be in his possession. "Luck!? Man, you really are an ass," says Dragunov before leaving. Ciampa keeps an eye on him as he walks away. Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano approach their companion. Gargano asks him to forget about Ilja and focus on his match tonight. They fist bump as the segment comes to an end.

"As for your friends, Bronson! You might be the best in that group, but you won’t find out until you wake up! Bron Breakker! Where is he? Historically speaking, a Steiner has never been better than a Rhodes! Logan Paul! Bring your drone, do a flip! None of us care! And Brock Lesnar! Brock, don’t forget that the last person who beat you was me! And not once, but twice! Mr. Heyman! Look at me! If there’s anything I’ve learned from that WrestleMania picture, it’s that you’ve represented every single one of those guys on screen! You know what I’ve learned from our relationship? That you create them, and I defeat them! WarGames! It’s not just a match! It’s my damn birthright!" Rhodes exclaims before throwing the microphone to the ground. Cody steps down from the table as the segment comes to an end.

Alba Fyre chats with a crew member backstage. The Scottish wrestler wants Chelsea Green’s celebration to be perfect. Suddenly, the double champion comes running to hide in a room. An enraged Giulia appears on screen alongside Kiana James. Kiana asks Alba where Chelsea is. Fyre says she hasn’t seen her all night. Giulia gets in the Scot’s face to yell at her in Japanese. After that, she walks away with her partner. With the area now cleared, Chelsea leaves her hiding spot. Alba asks Green what’s going on. Chelsea says that something doesn’t feel right. She has the feeling that tonight is not the right night for her celebration. "As the greatest champion of all time, it’s my duty to make sure those fans get the perfect experience. Because I’m just that selfless," Chelsea says. Suddenly, Jade Cargill appears. "The Storm" challenges Green to keep claiming she’s the greatest champion of all time. "Go on. That may lead them to face each other again in the future, but she’d like to set that aside heading into WarGames. The Australian assures her that despite everything between them, she has always respected her. So much so that if someone asked her who she’d want to go to war with, shoulder to shoulder, she’d say without hesitation, "Charlotte Flair." Charlotte stands up. "Yes. Yes, you can," Flair says. "Alright. Then you can trust me too," Rhea responds before shaking "The Queen’s" hand.

Sikoa then focuses on his match against Sami Zayn’s team next Friday. Solo promises he will set an example with the Canadian when his guys face Zayn’s. "Do you really think you stand a chance against my family, Sami? YOU DON’T!" he exclaims. Sikoa vows to take down every single one of Zayn’s teammates. "Guys, you don’t stand the slightest chance. Then there are Alexa and Charlotte. They may not be her best friends, but she can trust them. Just as the former champions can trust her.
