The Big Event will take drastic measures following the controversial AI-generated video involving AJ Lee

A few days ago, a video created with AI sparked controversy on the Internet. The video, made by a well-known YouTuber, Chris Horror, showed WWE superstar AJ Lee kissing him on the mouth. When the wrestler became aware of it, she asked the creator to delete it immediately. "It is inappropriate and it is harassment. Please, delete it," she wrote.

Horror and Lee had contact during an event held by The Big Event. The YouTuber used the photos taken from that encounter to shape his controversial video and thus recreate a personal fantasy to show it to the world. When the media picked up the news, they mentioned The Big Event to provide the readers with the most context possible. 

Of course, no company wants bad publicity for situations beyond their control. That is why The Big Event has decided to take action to prevent this from happening again in the future. This was explained in a recent statement, warning fans who act like Chris Horror that they will be permanently banned from all their events.

"As most of you have seen, The Big Event has been making headlines for the wrong reasons in the last 48 hours. This is not a discussion about the positive or negative uses of AI, but if you use AI or any other type of manipulation to distort the experience you had at the event, in a way that puts our guests or our fans in a negative or compromised position, you will be expelled from all future events, with no second chance and no right to appeal.

We want everyone who comes to have a memorable experience, a TRULY memorable experience, and not to create a false narrative that ruins future opportunities and moments for our fans. Celebrities and talent who dedicate time from their schedules do so because they appreciate the fans who made all this possible, so, please, respect the talent, not only during the event, but also outside of it".

The case of AJ Lee and Chris Horror has sparked a deep debate about the use of AI and the moral boundaries that should be applied in its use. On the other hand, and despite AJ Lee's request, the YouTuber has not yet deleted the video. It is unknown if the WWE superstar will take legal action or if, on the contrary, she will forget about the issue, hoping that soon everyone else will also forget about it, as is often the case with this type of controversy.
