Zoey Stark suffered an injury to her right knee in the early stages of her last match on the May 19 WWE Raw episode. A coordination error while trying to kick Kairi Sane ended with Stark's leg "stuck" on the mat, causing her knee to bend. The wrestler's screams alerted her opponents and the referee, who soon realized it was something serious.

After being examined by the medical team, Stark was immediately taken backstage. Later, the wrestler confirmed the bad news, announcing that she would be "out" for a while. A couple of weeks later, Stark underwent surgery, leading to a long recovery process she is still immersed in. Fortunately, there is good news regarding this.

Today, the wrestler has taken to her social media to share an update on her injury. Zoey posted a video showing her exercising her legs seemingly normally. This achievement has taken her half a year of work and brings her closer to her return to action.

Six months later and I can finally run and turn completely pain-free. It took time to get here, but we did it. Thanks Optimize PTP, one step closer to getting back in the ring!

Stark debuted on the main roster in mid-2023, receiving a significant push from the start. As a result of that confidence, she was included in the rivalry that pitted Trish Stratus against Becky Lynch, where she even scored a victory over the Irishwoman. Over time, Stark was relegated to a secondary role until the creation of the Pure Fusion Collective faction, which also included Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler.

However, the releases of Deville and Baszler ended the stable and left Zoey once again working solo. Her last match, a Money in the Bank qualifying match, was a great opportunity to shine again, but her unfortunate mishap during the fight thwarted any plans. At the moment, there is no approximate date for her return to action.
