Penta has finally revealed the real reason that led the Lucha Brothers to leave AEW and make the leap to WWE, a change that many assumed was obvious from the outside but, according to him, was one of the most complex processes of his career. It wasn't about money or fame, but about a deep need to grow and compete at a different level.

In Mafufas Chronicles, Penta explained that after five years in AEW, he felt completely in control of his character, with stability and creative freedom. However, that same comfort began to become a boundary that he could no longer ignore. "We were at a point where everything was stable, controlled... but we also knew that something was missing," he stated. "It wasn't about money, it wasn't about fame. It was competitive hunger."

The decision, far from immediate, was the subject of long conversations with Rey Fénix during their tours. In every hotel, the two analyzed the pros and cons, aware of what it meant to leave an environment where everything worked in their favor. Penta insisted that the uncertainty weighed more than people imagine, and that the only thing clear from the beginning was that the decision would be made together. "We entered together, we will leave together. That has always been the rule."

Finally, the brothers opted for the unknown and chose to continue their careers in WWE. Penta debuted on the January 13 episode of Raw, while Rey Fénix arrived on SmackDown on April 4. Both have remained separated until now, but they will fight together again on December 20 at Guerra de Titanes, as long as Penta manages to recover from the injury he suffered last Monday on Monday Night Raw.
