Jey Uso has decided to put a stop to a situation that, as he himself acknowledges, has become unsustainable. After his participation in the chaotic WarGames at Survivor Series: WarGames at Petco Park, the wrestler took to his Instagram stories to openly complain about how some fans approach him in public.
The member of the Anoa'i family explained that, far from just asking for a photo or an autograph, there are people who directly touch him or give him "little taps" without asking for permission, something he considers a total lack of respect for his personal space.
If you see me in public, please do not approach me to touch or tap me. How many strangers touch you in a day? For me, about 38.
His message came just hours after being part of the men's WarGames, a match that ended with a masked man attacking CM Punk from behind before Bron Breakker delivered a devastating spear and pinned him for the three count, giving the victory to the team led by Paul Heyman.
Jey is not the only one speaking out. In recent months, CM Punk has also publicly asked fans not to touch wrestlers when they see them outside the ring, reminding that, no matter how big the shows are, off-camera they are still individuals with their own boundaries.
It is worth mentioning that this message comes after the controversial video of Paul Heyman in which the WWE manager pushes a fan who approached him as he was heading to the post-show area of Survivor Series.
