TNA Wrestling is about to close one of the most important deals in its history. According to various sources in the television and wrestling industry, everything indicates that the company will land on AMC starting in January 2026, ending its stage on AXS TV and positioning itself on a platform with a much wider reach. Expectations have increased after AMC posted a teaser on social media showing a crowd cheering along with the text 1.15.26, a date that coincides with a Thursday, a usual day for the airing of TNA iMPACT!.
The move comes after a year in which TNA has been showcasing its programming to different networks in search of a deal. Since last November, when The Takedown on SI reported exclusively on the conversations with AMC, the TNA roster has been recording promotional material for 2026, and several figures openly pointed out that they believed this material was precisely destined for AMC.
Internal sources assure that the announcement could take place as soon as this Tuesday during a scheduled call with the talent, which is expected to clarify the company's television future. TNA had been seeking to close a deal before Bound For Glory, but the name of AMC began to gain strength within the industry around those dates.
AMC, known for hits like Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, has never aired wrestling, but the company has a network of channels and streaming services that could offer TNA unprecedented visibility. Its estimated reach is around 60 million households, more than double what TNA currently obtains with AXS TV, owned by Anthem Sports & Entertainment.
The value of the agreement has been estimated between 7 and 10 million dollars, as commented by TNA President, Carlos Silva, during the summer. At that time, several WWE-affiliated networks also showed interest, and even the possibility of moving iMPACT! to Wednesdays to compete directly with AEW was considered if the right contract came to the table.
In addition to the television appeal, TNA has also strengthened its presence thanks to the collaboration with WWE. TNA talent has frequently appeared on NXT and, at times, on the main roster. TNA's own Jordynne Grace, current NXT star, reacted positively to the AMC teaser practically confirming the news.
Meanwhile, TNA continues its regular schedule with tapings this week in El Paso and preparations for Genesis in January in Dallas, an event whose exact day has not yet been revealed. If AMC confirms the agreement, everything points to the official premiere of the new contract being on January 15, 2026, coinciding with the company's television relaunch towards a pivotal year in its history.
