The special edition of Dynamite that AEW will celebrate on Wednesday, December 10th, already has two of its most anticipated matches defined. In the latest edition of Dynamite, the company confirmed that the tournament for the new women's tag team titles will reach its conclusion that same night, while Samoa Joe will defend the World Championship in his first defense since Full Gear.
The Timeless Love Bombs, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa, advanced to the final after winning the semifinal this Wednesday, a match marked by chaos and the hardcore style typical of the holiday season. Their victory sets them up against the Babes of Wrath, the team formed by Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, in the match that will crown the first AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions.
"The winners will be the first women's tag team champions of AEW," announced the company during the broadcast of Dynamite, emphasizing the historical importance of the match.
The other big attraction of Winter Is Coming will be the defense of the AEW World Championship. Samoa Joe, who has recently betrayed Hook and solidified a new reign as champion, will face off against Eddie Kingston. Both had an intense face-off on Dynamite, a prelude filled with tension that made it clear the rivalry is far from over.
