TNA Wrestling has officially announced the date of Genesis, its next PPV event, confirming for the first time both the date and location of the event. The show will mark the beginning of the company's annual calendar at a particularly significant moment, with TNA debuting a new television era just two days prior.

Genesis will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, located in the Dallas metropolitan area. Early access to tickets will be available on Tuesday, December 9, while general sale will open on Thursday, the 11th. The event will be available via pay-per-view and also through TNA Plus.

The context couldn't be more special. Two days earlier, on Thursday, January 15, TNA will make its debut on AMC Networks thanks to a multi-year agreement that will bring Thursday Night iMPACT! to both the AMC channel and the AMC+ platform. It will be a live broadcast from the same Garland venue, inaugurating a new television cycle that will offer two hours of action weekly from 9 to 11 p.m. ET.

This television move represents TNA's biggest media leap in over a decade, as well as AMC's first foray into the world of wrestling. The company is thus approaching 2026 with a reinforced expansion strategy and greater visibility to the general public.

Furthermore, Genesis once again positions itself as the event responsible for kicking off the year, a tradition that last year also served to recalibrate storylines, introduce new rivalries, and set the tone for the season. With the momentum of the AMC debut and the return to Garland, all signs point to this edition carrying special weight in the brand's evolution.
