Last night a new show of CMLL Viernes Espectacular took place at the iconic Arena México. The event featured a card of six matches, including several multi-man confrontations. Unfortunately, one of them ended with a wrestler getting injured. The wrestler in question is Neón, who suffered a hard fall while attempting a springboard moonsault on Bárbaro Cavernario.
The masked wrestler jumped from the entrance ramp to the top rope of the ring to then attempt the moonsault. However, one of his feet slipped when he turned, causing him to lose balance. Unable to stop the motion, Neón fell headfirst to the ground without his opponent being able to stop him in time. The wrestler remained motionless on the ground until medical assistance arrived, who promptly took him out on a stretcher.
Despite this, his teammates, Templario and Titán, managed to overcome their opponents to secure the victory in a best two out of three falls match. At the moment, CMLL has not issued an official statement regarding Neón's condition. From Solowrestling, we wish the wrestler a speedy and full recovery.
