Early this morning, AEW Collision presented a new edition of its weekly show, loaded with segments and great matches. The show featured a series of high-caliber matches, especially those of the AEW Continental Classic tournament.
In the first match of the night belonging to the Blue League, Orange Cassidy defeated Roderick Strong to earn the first three points. In the final moments, Cassidy avoided the End of Heartache and surprised him with a quick pin to take the victory. Roderick Strong is the only wrestler in the group who has not scored yet.
Máscara Dorada defeated Claudio Castagnoli in the second match of the night's tournament, corresponding to the Blue League. Castagnoli came in hot to the occasion after winning his two previous matches. However, Máscara Dorada defeated him by hitting a shooting star press to secure the three count. The masked wrestler earned his first three points.
In the main event, the Blue League presented a very important match, where Konosuke Takeshita defeated Jon Moxley. The Japanese wrestler connected two Power Drive Knees and the Raging Fire to secure the victory by a three count. Moxley, who has the most matches in the group, falls behind and leaves the lead to Takeshita, who is now tied in points with Castagnoli.
