LA Knight will be an important figure in WWE in 2026

Despite what may seem from his recent trajectory, LA Knight is, for WWE, one of the major face figures within its programming. This has been confirmed by Bodyslam.net, which has stated that the company sees Knight as one of its top wrestlers for the upcoming year 2026.

Currently, LA Knight is at one of his lowest points since joining the main roster over three years ago. After a successful stint on Smackdown that saw him become a two-time US Champion, Knight was transferred to Monday Night Raw. Since then, he has been continuously feuding with The Vision, suffering numerous losses and being seen as a supporting player compared to other figures like CM Punk, Jey Uso, or Roman Reigns. This led to fan outrage, as they did not understand the creative mistreatment towards Knight. However, Bodyslam sources confirmed that the company is not ignoring the criticisms, but rather they are laying the groundwork. “The company is aware of the reactions and wants to make a long-term investment in Knight”, as stated in the article. 

The current fan outrage reached its peak in the weeks leading up to Survivor Series War Games, after it was confirmed that Knight would not be part of the face team despite his extensive feud with the group of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. It is very likely that the company noticed this and decided to bet on Knight. The first step towards this seems to have been taken in the last episode of Raw, when the Mega Star was brutally attacked by the three members of The Vision. 

It is very likely that Knight, who was taken out of the arena in an ambulance after the show, will stay away from television for a while and, upon his return, will seek revenge on his attackers by taking the lead in the revolt against them.
