John Cena will put an end to his successful career as a professional wrestler this very Saturday in a new edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, which this time will take place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. A show that already has its duration confirmed, as we can see on the official WWE YouTube channel.
Despite the magnitude of the event, WWE and Peacock have chosen to stick to the classic two-hour duration, which would explain why the card only includes four matches, including the retirement match of "The Greatest of All Time." Last Monday, WWE confirmed the Saturday schedule, without specifying the start time of the Post-Show, leading many to speculate the possibility of the main event of the night running longer than expected. However, this will not be the case.
With the confirmation of the final schedules, we can only hope that the company manages the timing well to avoid the mistakes made in the edition featuring Goldberg's retirement, whose farewell speech was abruptly cut off by NBC.
WWE will present this show as if it were a PPV, with a two-hour Countdown before the event and a Post-Show where the event's highlights will be analyzed, including interviews with some of its protagonists. Below you can see the program that WWE has prepared for Saturday.
Saturday Night's Main Event will be broadcast live through Peacock in the United States and on YouTube internationally through the official WWE and WWE Spanish channels. As usual, the Solowrestling team will cover the event with the traditional live report and the most outstanding notes from the show.
