TNA Wrestling has already set in motion the machinery towards Genesis 2026, confirming two of the matches that will mark the night of Saturday, January 17 in Garland, Texas. The announcement was made during the latest episode of Impact, where both the World Championship match and a match loaded with internal history for The System were revealed.

The main event will be the rematch between Frankie Kazarian and Mike Santana for the TNA World Championship. Their first televised encounter took place on November 13, when Kazarian became the new champion after using his Call Your Shot. Santana, who has been delivering some of the most consistent performances of his recent career, comes to Genesis with the mission of settling scores and proving that his first attempt did not reflect his true level.

On the other hand, JDC will have his retirement match against Eddie Edwards, his partner from The System. A silent breakup, an announced farewell, and a clash that will push two key pieces of the faction to their limits. For JDC, the match is not just a closure; it is his last chance to leave a mark in the ring before ending his career.

TNA Genesis will take place on November 17 in Garland, Texas. As usual, the Solowrestling team will cover the show with reports and highlights.
