During the broadcast of the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE confirmed that CM Punk will return this Monday, December 15, to Raw, marking his first television appearance since Survivor Series, where he was attacked by the mysterious masked assailant who finished him off with a curb stomp during WarGames. Since then, Punk had been out due to the injuries suffered on screen, while the investigation remains open in the storyline.
His return comes at a crucial moment, with the attacker's identity still unrevealed and with Bron Breakker hovering in the conversation about the immediate future of the world title. Everything points to Punk addressing the attack and dropping hints about his next defense.
In addition, Raw will feature a very intriguing match: Logan Paul will face Rey Mysterio, a duel we already saw in 2023 for the United States Championship and this year, in a qualifying match for Elimination Chamber. The edition will also include a new chapter in one of the best rivalries of the last decade, with The Usos vs. The New Day.
The night includes a title defense: Maxxine Dupri will put the Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line against Ivy Nile, in what will be her second title defense.
