WWE is deploying all its arsenal of stars as the countdown to Saturday Night's Main Event begins, a show that will go down in history as the night of John Cena's last match. According to Mike Johnson from PWInsider, several prominent figures from the company have already been seen in Washington, D.C., participating in community events and media commitments prior to the event.

Among the names already in the city are Maxxine Dupri, Joe Hendry, Rey Fénix, Otis, and AJ Styles, who will be involved in one of the matches. They are joined by two Hall of Famers, Mark Henry and Booker T, whose presence adds even more weight to a weekend full of emotions. It is rumored that more WWE legends will make an appearance, although it is likely that no more information will be leaked just hours before the show. Several of them will appear in local media.

Cena himself confirmed this morning his starring role: he will face Gunther in what WWE is promoting as his farewell match, closing more than two decades of career in the company.

Donald Trump and Vince McMahon are not confirmed

Despite the historical magnitude of the event, Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful has pointed out in the last few hours that neither Donald Trump nor Vince McMahon are confirmed to appear at Saturday Night's Main Event. Internal sources stated that, so far, there is no agreement or finalized plan for them to participate in the show.
