AEW Dark will return for one night only, and it will be from Europe. Before the start of the last show of AEW Collision in Cardiff, Tony Khan took the microphone in front of the audience to announce that he had requested permission from Warner Bros. Discovery to revive the historic program, and the company approved the request without hesitation.

“Because I love Cardiff so much, I went to the top executives of Warner Bros. Discovery, the company that powers the engine of AEW, and I said: ‘Please, it's the holiday season and, just for one night, I want to bring back AEW Dark for these loyal fans’. And you know what they said? They said yes!”

Khan explained that this special episode would be recorded right after Collision, as a Christmas gift for the Welsh audience and for the most loyal followers of the format, which stopped airing in April 2023 after more than three years of being on YouTube.

The special will be named AEW Dark: Stocking Stuffer and will feature several highlighted matches that bring together talent from the American and British scenes. Below you can read the lineup.
