TNA Wrestling faces a busy end of the year in the offices. Just a few weeks away from debuting its new television stage on AMC, the company continues to work against the clock to stabilize the roster and ensure which talent will be available when the official broadcast starts in January.
According to Fightful Select, TNA had at least a dozen contracts scheduled to expire by the end of 2025, in addition to several agreements that had already ended between Bound For Glory and early December. However, the company has begun to close some of these pending situations.
Sources consulted indicate that TNA has managed to finalize a series of short-term agreements with several wrestlers. Although specific names have not been revealed, most of these contracts are around three months in duration, which fits with the company's current strategy.
From within TNA, they explain that this model of short contracts offers greater financial flexibility and allows for the incorporation of talent that is not willing to sign long commitments. On the other hand, multiple wrestlers agree on the value of this formula, as it keeps their options open and facilitates future movements without being tied to the long term.
While continuing to work to confirm each of these renewals, TNA faces the debut on AMC with the intention of having its roster under control and its internal structure more aligned than in previous months.
