Maxxine Dupri is one of the wrestlers who has impressed fans the most in recent weeks. And not only for defeating Becky Lynch to win the Women's Intercontinental Championship of WWE in a surprising way, but also for the recent cinematic videos in which she has been seen training intensely under the direction of Natalya.

In total, two videos have been filmed with great skill and brilliantly performed by Dupri and Nattie, who have perfectly portrayed their roles as a suffering yet determined student and a tough and cold mentor, respectively, as well as the champion's evolution to surpass her teacher.

Both videos aimed to show Maxxine's improvement in the ring. However, the result has been better than expected, as evidenced by the great reception they have had both inside and outside the company. This is indicated in the most recent report from Fightful Select on the matter.

"According to reports, WWE's Director of Character Development, Rob Fee, was responsible for recording the videos. We have heard many positive comments regarding these videos," the outlet wrote. "A male talent pointed out that many people were happy to see the company doing something with both wrestlers, who are highly valued by their peers on a personal level."

After two weeks of intense training, Dupri returned to WWE Raw last night to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Ivy Nile. Maxxine showed a new, tougher and more determined image than her previous version for her first televised title defense.

Ivy - whom she had never been able to defeat - made things difficult for her. However, Dupri managed to trap her in an Ankle Lock from which her opponent could not escape, forcing her to submit. With this first hurdle overcome, it remains to be seen who will be the next woman to step up to face Dupri for the gold.
