Mercedes Moné has undoubtedly been one of the most prominent women of 2025. Her arrival at All Elite Wrestling has not only made her one of the highest-paid wrestlers in the industry, but also marked the beginning of the most successful era of her professional career, as evidenced by the twelve championships she currently holds.

But it is precisely this gimmick of "Belt Collector" and her continuous victories that have led her to receive criticism from a wide sector of fans, who believe that Moné only cares about herself and not about boosting her fellow wrestlers. Something that Alex Windsor has denied in a recent interview with Metro.

You can tell how much she wants to help other people. I had a singles match with her and she took the time to explain things to me in a way that made me think, 'this makes a lot of sense'

Windsor and Moné have faced each other half a dozen times in 2025, two of them with the TBS Championship at stake. Their last match took place on the September 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, where the British wrestler teamed up with her current tag team partner, Riho, to defeat "The CEO" and Emi Sakura at the iconic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Moné, on the other hand, remains very busy defending all the gold she holds. Last Sunday, the AEW star put three of her belts on the line (the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship, the EWA Women's Title, and the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women's Championship) against Rhio at the RevPro Uprising 2025 event. "The CEO" defeated the British wrestler to retain the gold.
