TNA already has a new contender for Frankie Kazarian's world championship. The name came out of the most chaotic fight of the night: a 20-man battle royal held in this Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT!, whose winner would earn a title shot for the program's premiere on AMC next January 15th.
After a tense finale, the last man standing was Bear Bronson, who overcame Eric Young and Ryan Nemeth in the final moments to secure his first major opportunity in TNA. Young was the last elimination before Bronson claimed victory.
Bronson has only been in the company for a few weeks. He debuted in the Countdown to Final Resolution, shortly after reports emerged indicating TNA's interest in the former AEW wrestler. In record time, he has gone from newcomer to top contender for the world title.
The company's new television journey will start off strong: Kazarian vs. Bronson will headline the January 15th Impact on AMC, a premiere that will set the tone for TNA's new era in 2026.
