WWE will start the year with a very special episode of Raw, which will mark the first anniversary of the red brand on Netflix. The show will feature the commentary of Michael Cole and Corey Graves at the announcers' table. A duo that the company will keep permanently, as reported by Mike Johnson from PWInsider. Meanwhile, the SmackDown table will be composed of Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett.

Cole and Barrett were the commentary duo on Raw shows for much of 2025, although recently the British had been moved to SmackDown, with his seat being taken by Graves, as we have seen in recent weeks. An exchange of partners that will continue unchanged with the arrival of the new year.

On the other hand, it is unknown if Cole and Barrett will be the chosen duo for the PLE, as has happened this past year. Meanwhile, the NXT commentary table would maintain its current duo, composed of Vic Joseph and Booker T, one of the most stable in WWE in recent years.

WWE is preparing a very special first anniversary of Raw on Netflix, with several headline matches, highlighting a showdown between CM Punk and Bron Breakker with the World Heavyweight Championship at stake. The show will take place on January 5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Meanwhile, SmackDown will return to the 3-hour format in its weekly broadcast on USA Network (and Netflix internationally). A decision that has not been well received by many fans, who fear that the show will fall back into the same mistakes of the past, becoming an excessively long program without really offering anything interesting to the viewer.
