The house show that WWE held this morning in Tampa coincided with AEW's Worlds End PPV date, yet it was AJ Styles who ended up trending. After defending the tag team titles alongside Dragon Lee, Styles stopped to sign items for fans, until one of them presented him with a replica of the AEW World Championship.
Far from reacting harshly, Styles kept his composure and showed respect before declining the request. With a smile, he replied: "Nick, Matt, I love you... but I can't sign this!" A direct reference to the Young Bucks, his former partners in the Bullet Club during his time in NJPW.
The moment, captured on video, quickly went viral. The gesture not only avoided internal controversies, but also highlighted the cordial relationship Styles maintains with the Bucks despite now being in rival companies. Nevertheless, the WWE champion made it clear that there are lines he won't cross, especially within an event of the company he works for.
Before that curious moment occurred, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) in a triple threat match to retain the World Tag Team Championships.
