For over two decades, his face was an inseparable part of the modern wrestling television experience. Almost always in the front row, always visible, always reacting with the intensity of someone who lives each match as if it were unique. Now, that image comes to an end.
Michael Corcoran, known worldwide among fans as "Brock Lesnar Guy", has officially announced his retirement from attending live wrestling events, putting an end to a stage that made him one of the most recognizable superfans in the industry.
The announcement came through social media, where Corcoran shared a message full of reflection and personal closure, reviewing a career that has spanned over 25 years.
For over 25 years, I have lived incredible moments attending wrestling events. But now... it's time to move on. I knew my time was running out, and that's why this year I gave it my all.
Corcoran rose to viral fame in 2012, when his exaggerated and wide-eyed reaction to Brock Lesnar's return to WWE, the night after WrestleMania 28, became an Internet phenomenon. From then on, his presence became a regular sight in the front row of practically all major events.
WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and all kinds of premium events featured his figure as an almost fixed element, to the point of becoming a recurring topic of conversation among fans. For many, he symbolized a specific era of the fan who experiences the product by traveling tirelessly.
In his message, Corcoran also referred to 2025 as a particularly significant year. He explained that he decided to intensify his travel schedule to make the most of the final moments of several legends, highlighting especially John Cena's farewell tour.
"It's been an incredible year, especially with John Cena's retirement tour," he noted, making it clear that this experience was one of the reasons that led him to close the chapter of this stage. "I need to focus on other things now, which I will share with you very soon. But as far as attending wrestling events, it's time to turn the page. I will continue to post content. Stay tuned."
