The Undertaker has seen several generations of wrestlers come and go in WWE, but even a figure of his experience admits that he didn't always get it right with his first impressions. In the latest edition of the Six Feet Under podcast, where AJ Styles was his special guest, the Hall of Famer candidly reviewed how he perceived John Cena and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson when they both took their first steps in the company.

He explained that there were two very specific cases in which he thought from day one that they wouldn't go far. With the passage of time, he not only acknowledges that he was wrong, but does so bluntly, emphasizing that accepting mistakes is also part of the business.

At first, there were two people that I saw working on the first day and thought: 'This guy is not going to amount to anything.' I was wrong, and I can admit it. I know there are people in this business who can't do it. I can tell when I fail. Do you know who the other one was? Dwayne.

Undertaker also reflected on The Rock's debut, recalling that initial stage when he appeared in an outfit far from the star he would eventually become. For him, that debut at Madison Square Garden, loaded with expectations due to his last name and family legacy, did not exactly invite optimism.

The Deadman remembered that, both in The Rock's case and Cena's, they both needed time to find their place and develop their personalities. However, once they did, they built careers that led them to become two of the most important names in wrestling history, and also in Hollywood.

Today, with Cena retired from the ring and The Rock almost a sporadic figure in WWE, Undertaker looks back with perspective and acknowledges that those "doubtful beginnings" ultimately gave way to absolutely legendary careers.
