Live Report of WWE Raw January 12, 2026

WWE Raw begins on Netflix!

We see a video recap of the last episode of the red brand. After that, we are shown the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists to the venue: CM Punk, The Vision (except Bron Breakker), Je'Von Evans, Los Americanos, AJ Styles, and Gunther.

Fireworks welcome us to the first WWE weekly show in Düsseldorf.

THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are the ones to open tonight's show. The new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions are greeted with a great ovation by the German fans. Rhea and IYO head to the ring with big smiles on their faces. Ripley and SKY embrace before clashing their belts. "Düsseldorf, welcome to Monday Night Rhea!", exclaims Ripley.

The Australian recalls that they have been immersed in a long rivalry with The Kabuki Warriors, whom they finally taught a lesson last week to become the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. "You deserve it!", chants the audience. IYO thanks them for it. The Japanese considers that Kairi Sane and Asuka have not been respectful to them. That's why they had to beat respect into them. "Because no one is ready for RHIYO!", exclaims SKY. Rhea takes the floor again to point out that tonight they want to issue a challenge to any team that wants a title shot.

Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez interrupt the segment

Liv "apologizes" for the interruption before greeting the champions. "Hello, Rhea. Long time no see, mate. You look good," says Ripley. Morgan points out that they just want to congratulate them on their title victory. However, there is a problem: those titles belong to The Judgment Day. Liv remembers that she never lost her tag team championship, so now she wants to get it back. At this point, Rhea and SKY have two options: either they hand them over willingly, or they will take them by force.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria enter the scene

Bayley welcomes Morgan before enjoying the chants of the audience. "The Role Model" heads to the ring to remind Liv that her partner Perez did lose the titles. The same woman she defeated two weeks ago. That's why she believes that the ones who deserve this opportunity the most are her and Valkyria. "As I said, Bayley, we are here to issue a challenge to anyone," says Ripley. IYO interrupts her partner to take care of this matter. "The Genius of Sky" begins shouting in Japanese at the four women who want this opportunity. IYO steps aside for the four to start arguing. Suddenly, The Kabuki Warriors appear out of nowhere to throw the champions out of the ring and slam them against the audience barrier. After that, they enter the ring to start a fight. Liv and Bayley fall out of the ring. Rhea and IYO return to join the fight. Ripley gets rid of Kairi with a Fallaway Slam. Meanwhile, SKY hits Asuka and Lyra with a double dropkick. The champions pose in the ring while their potential rivals remain on the ringside floor. This is how we reach the end of this segment.

Jackie Redmond interviews AJ Styles backstage. "The Phenomenal One" recalls his altercation with Gunther from last week. AJ Styles affirms that this business revolves around respect. And that's something he learned right at the beginning of his wrestling career. AJ Styles acknowledges that he and John Cena have never been the best of friends, but they have shown mutual respect. However, Gunther has disrespected him week after week. So last week he decided to slap the Austrian to leave a bad taste in his mouth. "Gunther, I'm going to teach you something about respect. I'm going to show you what it's worth fighting for. In fact, I'm going to make you surrender like a little dog", says "The Phenomenal One" looking at the camera.

Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez return satisfied to The Judgment Day's "clubhouse" after learning that they will compete tonight for a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. Morgan asks Finn Bálor if he has seen it. "See what?" asks the Irishman while playing WWE 2K25. Annoyed, Liv reproaches her partner for not living up to his promise from last week. Didn't he promise to carry the weight of The Judgment Day on his back to bring gold to the faction? Liv reminds him that The Judgment Day won't dominate Monday Night Raw while they wait sitting down. "We don't wait. So, what are you waiting for? It's time to stop playing", says Liv before leaving. Perez approaches Finn. "She's right, Finn," she says before going to find her partner. "Just watch, girls. Just watch," says a confident Bálor as the segment comes to an end.

Je'Von Evans vs. Bravo Americano (with El Grande Americano and Rayo Americano)

Je'Von and Bravo start with an initial feeling-out phase. Bravo tricks his opponent with a handshake to slap him. Evans responds with a lightning-fast offense that the masked man is unable to stop. Rayo gets on the apron to distract the referee (Jessika Carr), a moment that El Grande Americano takes advantage of to kick Je'Von with an enzuigiri. Thus, Bravo takes the lead.

Bravo applies a backbreaker on Evans before trapping him in a headlock. Je'Von frees himself to launch an offensive against the masked man, who ends up outside the ring. Evans dives onto him with a tope. Je'Von brings him back into the ring, where he knocks him down with a running knee strike. 1..2..NO.

Evans delivers a superkick to Bravo, who responds with an Airplane Spin. Still dizzy, Bravo seeks height in one of the corners. Evans quickly goes to his position to surprise him with a spanish fly. After that, he runs to the opposite corner to execute a definitive OG Cutter. 1...2..3.

Winner: Je'Von Evans

Rayo tries to attack Evans, but he quickly gets rid of him. El Grande Americano takes Je'Von out of the ring before throwing him over the commentator's table. El Grande Americano regroups with his partners to prepare their next move. The Americans prepare to corner Evans, but he jumps over all of them to escape to the entrance ramp. Je'Von celebrates his victory and escape from the masked men with the fans as the segment comes to an end.

We see Adam Pearce talking to a referee in front of his office door. The General Manager asks the official to go to the women's locker room to make it clear that this matter will be resolved tonight. After that, he notices the presence of Paul Heyman. "Where is he?" Pearce asks. Paul evades the question, but Adam insists. Pearce orders Heyman that, once Bron Breakker arrives -and he will with bad intentions- he should tell him to leave. Because tonight he won't tolerate Breakker sowing chaos. A sarcastic Paul says it's an honor to be Pearce's "errand boy." And of course, he will deliver his message to Breakker when he sees him... as long as he has bad intentions. Adam thanks him for that. Heyman leaves to end the segment.

Jey Uso makes his entrance through the crowd during the next commercial break. Jey interacts with the fans. Microphone in hand, the Samoan welcomes them to "Usodorf," pointing out that he just wanted to come out to greet and remind them that he and his brother Jimmy are the best team in this business. "4 letters, one word: USO!", he exclaims to end this brief segment.

CM Punk makes his entrance. "The Best in the World" is greeted with a great ovation. CM Punk heads to the ring while greeting some fans in the front row. "CM Punk! CM Punk!" chant the fans as the World Heavyweight Champion reaches the ring. CM Punk assures that he never gets tired of this. So much so that he plans to be champion forever. However, he is aware that things don't always go as one wishes. And if not, let Cody Rhodes tell him. Despite that, he has the unconditional support of the fans, and with them pushing him, he can handle anything. That said, he wants to look towards the nearest future: Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. Two events where he could meet his challenger at WrestleMania. And now that he has left his rivalry with Bron Breakker in the past, he can't wait to meet that opponent. CM Punk thanks Düsseldorf to end his promo... Or not.

Finn Bálor makes his entrance

The Irishman heads to the ring, where CM Punk awaits with crossed arms. Finn takes a microphone. Bálor points out that he won't wait for Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber. And he's not here to be given anything. But CM Punk named him as one of the opponents he would like to face. And here he is. CM Punk reminds him that those statements were made two months ago. "Where's your ambition, mate? That was two months ago. Where have you been?", asks "The Best in the World." Helping Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh? Playing video games? Cleaning Liv Morgan's shoes? Does he really think he can take advantage of CM Punk's state after WarGames and his battle against Bron Breakker last week?

"If you had a title shot, would I face Finn Bálor or Finn Bálor and The Judgment Day? Because I've been at a disadvantage with The Vision. You know what I'm capable of. But I'm a man of my word. I said your name because you're awesome and talented. I'm a fan of Finn Bálor. Yesterday I said I'm a fighting champion. And that means I'm a fighting champion today. That's why I'll go back there, put on my boots, and we'll do this here, tonight!", says CM Punk. The fans go wild.

Finn assures him that he won't have to worry about his Judgment Day partners. But that doesn't mean he'll be alone. However, they'll do this their way. Bálor knows CM Punk and knows he always seeks the advantage that the support of the fans gives him. That's why this match won't take place tonight, but next week when Raw is held in Belfast, Ireland, his homeland, promising that it will be then when WWE has a new World Heavyweight Champion. "Alright, Prince. You got it. I apologize to the Düsseldorf fans because you've let them down, as they wanted to see the champion at work. And I want to take the time to apologize to the Belfast fans when they have to watch me put one of their own to sleep with the GTS, because at the end of the night, I'll be standing over you with the ring announcer saying 'And still World Heavyweight Champion: C-M-PUNK!'", exclaims "The Best in the World" before dropping the mic on the canvas. "See you next week," he says to the Irishman before leaving the ring. CM Punk greets the fans in the front row while Bálor remains in the ring. This is how we reach the end of this segment.

We see a recap video focused on the Gunther and AJ Styles rivalry.

Triple Threat for a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) vs. The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan) vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria

Asuka, Liv, and Bayley start the match. Meanwhile, the fans sing at the top of their lungs: "Hey, Bayley! I Wanna Know If You'll Be My Girl!" Perez covers Morgan's ears so she doesn't hear them. The three women start the match with a quick exchange of roll-ups. Bayley executes a corner spear on Liv, who responds with a running knee strike. Asuka approaches them to take the lead, applying a bulldog + clothesline on Morgan and Bayley respectively. "The Empress of Tomorrow" covers Liv. 1..2..NO.

A triple tag is made. Roxanne and Kairi team up against Lyra. Perez quickly betrays Sane, at which point Valkyria returns to the fight. Sane blocks a Pop Rox in one of the corners, only to fall into Lyra's clutches. The Japanese recovers to knock down both her opponents at the same time. After that, she hits Roxanne with a sliding forearm. Valkyria surprises Kairi with a german suplex hold. 1..2..NO.

The action moves to ringside, where all the women start a fight. Kairi takes advantage to climb to the top of one of the corners and launch herself with an Insane Elbow. Kairi takes Bayley back into the ring, where she tries to connect with a sliding forearm. However, Bayley dodges it, causing "The Pirate Princess" to hit one of the corners.

Asuka gets the tag to combine perfectly with Sane against "The Role Model". Bayley tries to reach her corner, but Kairi prevents her. Perez returns to the ring to hit Sane from behind. Liv gets the tag to unleash a flurry of kicks on Bayley in one of the corners. Asuka gets the tag from Kairi. As soon as she enters the ring, "The Empress of Tomorrow" takes her revenge on "The Prodigy," whom she hits over and over again.

Asuka, Bayley, and Roxanne exchange attacks until all three end up lying on the mat. Valkyria gets the tag. The Irishwoman enters with everything, taking care of all her rivals. Lyra charges with Kairi against one of the corners. Asuka tries to help her partner, but Bayley knocks her down with a side suplex. Meanwhile, the action continues in the corner. Bayley and Lyra trap Kairi, whom they intend to hit with a double superplex. Morgan and Perez reach them to execute a Tower of Doom (Liv and Morgan perform a powerbomb on Bayley and Lyra, who in turn perform a superplex on Sane).

Asuka returns to attack all her rivals. Asuka hits a german suplex on Lyra and Bayley at the same time. Asuka kicks Valkyria before setting her up for Kairi to finish her off with an Insane Elbow. Sane covers her, but the referee indicates that the Irishwoman is not the legal wrestler. Liv jumps on Kairi, leading to chaos taking over the ring.

Kairi launches herself at Valkyria with a diving crossbody. Valkyria stops her in mid-air before applying a backbreaker. Bayley finishes off “The Pirate Princess” with a diving elbowdrop. 1..2..NO. Asuka breaks up the count. The action doesn’t stop. Roxanne surprises Bayley with a Pop Rox. 1..2..NO. Kairi breaks up the count. Enraged, Perez unleashes a barrage of attacks on Kairi. She throws Roxanne out of the ring, only to be surprised by Morgan, who hits her with an ObLIVion. 1..2..3.

Winners: The Judgment Day

Becky Lynch cuts a video promo to express her frustration. “The Man” reminds everyone that it’s only been a week since she defeated Maxxine Dupri to regain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and her rival already has a rematch scheduled for next week. Becky calls out the blatant corruption in WWE Raw due to Adam Pearce. But she doesn’t care, because she’ll do what she does best: take those lemons and make lemonade. Because next week, in her hometown of Belfast, she’ll prove what everyone is already saying: that she is the greatest of all time. Pro Wrestling Illustrated says it. Bleacher Report says it. And now her championship says it too. “Maxxine, I hope you enjoyed your time in the spotlight, because next week it’s over. You’ll have to say goodbye to the Big Time, she says to end her promo.

Byron Saxton interviews Je'Von Evans on the entrance ramp. Saxton recalls that last week Evans was signing his Raw superstar contract, and seven days later he has already earned his first victory as a member of the red brand. Je'Von admits his life has been crazy since arriving in NXT. Evans thanks everyone for the opportunities he’s received since then before promising WWE fans that he won’t let them down. In fact, he assures he will exceed the expectations placed on him. Je'Von urges us to tune into Raw every Monday to watch him grow.

Jackie Redmond interviews Maxxine Dupri (with Otis and Akira Tozawa) backstage. Dupri says she won’t dwell on last week’s loss. She’s not going to cry about what happened, even though she’s disappointed with the situation. However, when she became Intercontinental Champion, she proved she belongs here. Maxxine addresses her partners. “Guys, I became champion because I finally believed in myself. And I had to learn how to do that. I think it’s time for you two to do the same. I know you’re capable of great things,” she says. She then makes it clear that what happened last week was just a setback, not a defeat. “I’m fully aware that Becky Lynch may be the greatest wrestler of all time. And yes, Sports Illustrated says it. But she also had to cheat to beat me. So, Becky Lynch, next week I’m going to lock in an Ankle Lock, and I’m going to break your ankle!” she exclaims. Dupri thanks Redmond for her time before leaving with her partners.

Michael Cole interviews Raquel Rodriguez on the entrance ramp. Cole recalls that they’ve known each other since her days in NXT. He’s followed her career closely and still believes she’ll be a world champion someday. However, he’s surprised by the brutal attack she carried out last week on Stephanie Vaquer. Raquel also remembers that time. She remembers the girl who used to fall down and patiently wait for a title opportunity. But things change, and Cole has witnessed how she’s been wronged every time she’s competed for the top prize in the division. And now everyone feels sorry for Vaquer? Rodriguez promises she won’t stop attacking the Chilean until she gets what she wants: a one-on-one match with “La Primera.” And when Raquel has the Women’s World Championship in her possession, everyone can feel sorry for the Chilean.

Stephanie Vaquer storms onto the scene!

Several officials surround the champion to prevent a fight. Raquel, meanwhile, mocks her as she heads back backstage. Vaquer addresses the camera. “I am the Champion! And this will not stop me” she says while pointing to her leg protected by a boot. “Raquel, you want this? Come and get it!” exclaims “La Primera” as she raises her championship.

Raquel returns to attack Stephanie!

The Texan slams the champion’s injured leg against the mat. After chasing away the officials, Raquel grabs the title belt to use it as a weapon against the champion’s leg, who screams in pain. Rodriguez poses with the championship before dropping it onto its rightful owner. Two officials escort the heel backstage while the rest assist Stephanie, who remains laid out on the mat. “You suck!” chant the fans as they send off the Texan.

Vaquer is helped back backstage during the next commercial break.

We see Jey Uso leaving a voicemail for his brother Jimmy. Otis and Akira Tozawa approach the Samoan to greet him. Otis asks Jey if his warning is directed at all the teams in the tag division. Jey answers yes, promising that he and his brother will take out anyone who wants to face them. “What if we wanted a piece of that?” Otis asks. Jey replies that the warning doesn’t apply to them, since they’re good friends. It’s for the rest of the divis—“Uce! I’m serious”, Otis says, interrupting him. Jey realizes Otis is serious and promises he’ll talk to Jimmy about it. However, he wants Otis and Tozawa to be very aware of what they’re getting into. “You’ll be in the ring with the best tag team in this game. You understand?” he asks. “YEET,” Otis replies before leaving with his partner.

Tag Team Match
The Vision (Austin Theory and Bronson Reed) (with Paul Heyman and Logan Paul) vs. Penta and Dragon Lee

Penta and Theory start the match. “¡Cero Miedo!” chant the fans. Austin traps Penta in a headlock. The Mexican breaks free to outsmart his opponent, walking across his back. The action continues. Penta hits a pair of scissors on his rival, followed by a facebuster. Theory answers with a stomp before tagging in Reed. However, the Australian ends up falling to an unstoppable flurry of attacks from the masked men.

Lee strikes Bronson, who responds with a bodyslam. He then executes a Gorilla Press Slam into the top of his turnbuckle. Dragon ends up at ringside, where he eats a right hand from Austin. Theory brings the masked man back into the ring and continues the attack. Meanwhile, fans chant for Roman Reigns. “OTC, OTC!”

Reed drops Lee before crushing him with a splash. 1..2..NO. Bronson tries to rip off his opponent’s mask, but he refuses to be humiliated. Theory tags in and hits a Vertical Suplex on Dragon. 1..2..NO. Without hesitation, Austin knocks Penta off the turnbuckle. Reed tags back in to continue punishing Lee.

Theory and Reed deliver a double-team attack (samoan drop + rolling dropkick) on Dragon. Austin covers the Mexican. 1..2..NO. Lee tries to escape, but a massive clothesline from Bronson stops him. Reed sets up for his next attack—but Lee counters it into a DDT! Both men are down. Dragon and Bronson crawl to their respective corners to tag in their partners.

Penta storms in. He hits a Lungblower on Theory. 1..2..NO. Penta and Dragon nail several superkicks on Austin, sending him to ringside. Logan tries to interfere but receives the same punishment. Logan and Theory get to their feet. At that moment, Lee dives onto both with a tope. The Mexican celebrates. Suddenly… Bron Breakker appears out of nowhere and literally runs through the masked man with a devastating spear!

Winners by disqualification: Penta and Dragon Lee

Breakker enters the ring and hits another spear, this time on Penta. Bron steps out of the ring, ready to finish off Lee, but Adam Pearce steps in. Furious, the General Manager berates Breakker for his actions. “Not tonight! I told Heyman! I told him this wasn’t going to happen! But it’s happening! You came here with bad intentions, so you’d better go home!” Pearce shouts. Meanwhile, Reed hits a Tsunami on Penta. Adam quickly enters the ring to confront Bronson. “You too! I’m sick of you!” the General Manager yells. Breakker takes advantage of Pearce’s distraction to hit a second spear on Dragon Lee. Losing it, Adam grabs Bron from behind and spins him around. “I’m sick of this crap! I’m sick of this!” he shouts. Suddenly, Breakker grabs the General Manager, pinning him in the corner. “WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? WHAT?” Bron yells as Theory, Logan, and Heyman try to pull him away. Bronson watches the chaos near the corner before joining them. Reed finally manages to separate Bron from Pearce. Heyman repeatedly apologizes to Adam, who continues yelling at Breakker. “Kiss my ass! Screw you!” a defiant Bron shouts. “Get him out of here!” Adam orders the rest of The Vision. Pearce scolds Heyman, blaming him for what happened, while Logan, Reed, and Theory escort Bron out of the ring. The tension spills onto the entrance ramp as Logan and Heyman try to calm the General Manager while Reed and Theory drag Breakker away.

Penta and Dragon Lee are attended to in the medical area. Je'Von Evans approaches them to check on their condition. “Let me know if you need anything,” he says. The Mexicans thank him. Meanwhile, Adam Pearce continues yelling at Bron Breakker backstage. “Where do you think you’re going? We’re not done talking! Do you dare put your hands on me? Look at me when I’m talking to you! Are you listening? You’re not learning a damn thing if you put your hands on your boss! You know what? You’ll have time to think about it, BECAUSE YOU ARE INDEFINITELY SUSPENDED!” he shouts. Breakker tries to confront the General Manager, but Bronson Reed stops him. The Australian manages to pull his partner away to prevent things from getting worse. Paul Heyman approaches the General Manager. “That was a big mistake,” says “The Oracle.” “YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT IT WAS! IT’S THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF HIS CAREER! THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF HIS CAREER, THANKS TO YOU!” Adam yells. “I wasn’t referring to him, but to you,” Heyman replies. “Mr. Pearce, Mr. General Manager. With all due respect, from my point of view, you put your hands on him first,” he adds before walking away. Pearce remains silent and thoughtful as the segment comes to an end.

We see a new teaser video starring Oba Femi.

Jackie Redmond interviews Gunther in Gorilla Position. “The Ring General” scolds AJ Styles for slapping him over something that didn’t concern him. “How disrespectful of him to do that to the best professional wrestler in this company today. And more importantly, how disrespectful to do it to the man who made John Cena tap out like a little dog,” says the Austrian, laughing. “So if I can do that to the self-proclaimed The Greatest of All Time, AJ shouldn’t be worried about respect. AJ should be worried about what’s going to happen to him once the bell rings,” Gunther adds before heading to the ring.

AJ Styles vs. Gunther

Gunther traps AJ Styles in a wristlock. “The Phenomenal One” heads to the corner to force a break. Gunther releases his opponent before looking for a chop. AJ Styles avoids the attack and fires back with a kick. Gunther charges again, only to eat another kick. Gunther hits the mat. The Austrian retreats to ringside.

“The Ring General” returns to continue the fight. AJ Styles quickly surprises him with another kick. A dropkick sends Gunther to ringside. AJ Styles dives onto him. “This is my house,” AJ Styles says. Gunther surprises his rival and drops him onto the apron. Gunther tries to repeat the move, but “The Phenomenal One” stops him. The action returns to the ring. Gunther blocks a kick and responds with a clothesline.

AJ Styles fires back with several chops before heading to the top turnbuckle. The Austrian steps up and delivers a single—but brutal—chop. As a result, AJ Styles falls to ringside. “The Phenomenal One” tries to get back in, but his rival stops him with a big boot. AJ Styles gets back in again, only to be taken down with a body drop.

Gunther kicks AJ Styles in the head before he can get to his feet. “The Ring General” continues punishing his rival, violently throwing him into one of the corners. AJ Styles tries to respond, but another chop from Gunther leaves him laid out on the mat. Gunther grabs AJ Styles by the left arm and continues delivering chops.

AJ Styles breaks free and unleashes a combo of attacks, but Gunther not only stays on his feet, he also counters with a chop that drops his opponent again. Gunther mocks his rival with the “You Can’t See Me” gesture. AJ Styles responds with a dropkick directly to Gunther’s left leg, which he continues to target with several Dragon Screws

AJ Styles traps the Austrian’s damaged leg in a Calf Crusher. Gunther crawls to the ropes to force a break. AJ Styles strikes Gunther near the ropes. The Austrian answers with a chop before going for a Gojira Clutch. AJ Styles counters with a Dragon Screw. AJ Styles follows up with a springboard double legdrop to further damage his opponent’s injured leg. 1...2...NO.

Gunther dodges a Phenomenal Forearm and a Pele Kick to answer with a Powerbomb. 1..2..NO. “This is awesome!” chant the fans. “Come on AJ, slap me now!” Gunther shouts before striking his rival, who can barely get to his feet. Gunther continues delivering punishing chops to AJ Styles. Styles rallies to trade blows with the Austrian, once again locking in the Calf Crusher. This time, the Austrian wraps his arm around his rival’s head and repeatedly smashes it into the mat. AJ Styles is forced to release the hold.

Gunther hits a Shotgun Dropkick on AJ Styles before setting up another Powerbomb. However, AJ Styles blocks it and counters with a Calf Crusher. Gunther endures as long as he can, but the pain is too intense. Gunther brings his left hand to AJ Styles’ thigh to tap out, causing “The Phenomenal One” to release him.

AJ Styles celebrates his victory, confusing the referee, who doesn’t understand what’s happening. AJ Styles tries to explain, but the official insists Gunther did not submit. The referee goes to the ropes to inform Alicia Taylor that the match is not over. Gunther takes advantage and surprises AJ Styles with a low blow. He then finishes him off with a powerbomb. 1..2..3.

Winner: Gunther

A smiling Gunther walks up the entrance ramp as a dejected AJ Styles watches from the ropes. “The greatest in this company!” Gunther exclaims as the show comes to an end
