Live Report of WWE NXT January 13, 2026

WWE NXT starts on Netflix!

We see a video recap of NXT New Year's Evil.

Ava is in charge of opening tonight's show. The General Manager picks up the NXT Championship that Oba Femi left on the mat last week. The male roster of NXT and Evolve surrounds the ring. "While some people see this as a challenge, I see it as the perfect opportunity, because now the male division is wide open. And I'm eager to see who will step up", says Ava. She makes it clear that everyone has the opportunity to do so. "There's no better time than right now", she says.

Ricky Saints interrupts the segment!

"The Absolute" walks past his locker room companions to enter the ring. After posing in one of the corners, Ricky approaches Ava. Saints thanks everyone for being present before reminding them that he has expelled from NXT the men who starred in the main event of the last edition of NXT Stand & Deliver: Je'Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Oba Femi. "The Absolute" points out that "The Ruler" did not want to face him again because he is afraid. "But those three are now part of the past, and I am the present", says Ricky before affirming that he represents WWE's motto "Then. Now. Forever" perfectly. Saints points to all the men surrounding the ring. He sees future champions in them. "But that's the future, and all eyes are on Saints right now, so I can assume that I will be a two-time NXT champion. But I'll be quiet, Ava. I'll let you have the honor of handing me the title," says "The Absolute" as he extends his hand.

Ava acknowledges that Saints deserves an opportunity, but no more than the rest of his companions, who came to her office to say exactly the same thing. With that said, she informs him that on February 3, there will be a Ladder Match with six men to determine the next champion. The qualifying matches will begin next week. "I'm eager to see who will step up to make this moment theirs," says Ava before placing the NXT belt on a hook. Ricky watches in amazement at the General Manager, unable to understand why the title is not in his hands. The hook begins to rise. Joe Hendry and Dion Lennox burst into the ring to face off with Ricky, and chaos soon erupts.

The entire roster starts a big fight inside and outside the ring. Suddenly, Keanu Carver enters the scene. The new NXT talent heads towards the ring, tossing anyone who gets in his way. Keanu catches Brooks Jensen, whom he powerbombs onto the commentary table, which is left shattered. Carver interrupts a suicide dive by Jackson Drake with a right hook. After that, he enters the ring to lift the WWE Evolve Champion over his head and throw him into several wrestlers at ringside. Finally, Keanu is the last man standing. Meanwhile, Ricky watches in amazement from the entrance ramp.

We see Ava talking on the phone as she walks backstage. Behind her, we can see Tony D'Angelo. Robert Stone approaches Ava to inform her that Blake Monroe is in the building and has a lot to talk about. "I'm sure he does. Let's see what he has to say," responds the General Manager.

Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice

Kelani hits Lola with a dropkick as she makes her entrance. Vice falls to ringside. Jordan dives on her with a springboard crossbody. Then, she takes her inside the ring to continue her assault, but Lola prevents it. Vice and Kelani exchange attacks at high speed. A kick knocks down Lola, who falls back into the clutches of her opponent. She kicks Vice, only to receive the same response from her opponent.

Lola grabs Jordan's arm, who quickly seeks refuge in the ropes. Vice corners Kelani to unleash a flurry of attacks on her opponent. The referee has to intervene. Jordan gets her revenge with a slap. Furious, Vice chases Kelani, who flees to ringside. Jordan surprises Lola, pushing her into the commentary table.

Kelani brings Lola back inside the ring to continue hitting her. Jordan throws Vice into one of the corners. Lola tries to recover, but a kick from Kelani stops her momentum. Jordan catches Lola in a crossface. Kelani starts to apply the The Three Amigos, but Lola blocks the third suplex to execute one from her own arsenal.

Jordan regains the advantage, trapping Lola in a bodyscissors. Vice shifts her weight onto Kelani to cover her. 1..2..NO. Jordan releases her to interrupt the three count. A double pump kick leaves both women lying on the mat. "This is amazing!" chant the fans. Kelani and Lola exchange attacks. Vice performs a German suplex on Jordan to take control.

Vice unleashes a flurry of kicks on Kelani, who ends up in one of the corners. Kelani flees to ringside to avoid a Running Hip Attack, but she can't escape an unexpected apron legdrop. Vice brings her back into the ring to execute -now- a Running Hip Attack. The action continues. Vice blocks a kick from Kelani to catch her in a Gojira Clutch. Jordan reaches the ropes to force her release. Jordan knocks down Vice with a Pelee Kick before finishing her off with a frog splash. 1..2..NO.

Kelani performs a Split-legged Moonsault, but Lola catches her in mid-air to trap her in a Triangle Choke. Jordan frees herself to take down her opponent with an Olympic Slam. Kelani dives with a 450 Splash, but Lola dodges it. Jordan surprises Vice with a roll-up, grabbing the middle rope for more pressure. The referee notices and interrupts the count. Kelani argues with the official, a moment that Lola takes advantage of to recover. Jordan turns to her opponent, only to receive the merciless impact of a Back Fist. Kelani collapses on the mat. 1..2..3.

Winner: Lola Vice

Lola addresses the camera to send a direct message to the new NXT North American Champion. "Izzi Dame, I kicked your ass a couple of weeks ago. I'm coming for your title, you idiot!", she exclaims.

Tavion Heights and Jasper Troy star in a promotional video for the title match they will have next.

Match for the WWE Speed Championship
Jasper Troy (c) vs. Tavion Heights

Heights surprises Troy with a dropkick as soon as the bell rings. Jasper tries to respond, but Tavion knocks him down again. Heights traps the champion in an inverted headlock. Jasper charges with him against one of the corners before taking him down with a tackle. Troy finishes him off with three consecutive splashes. Heights escapes to ringside to catch his breath. Tavion returns, only to fall into Troy's clutches again.

Heights tries to counterattack, but the champion catches him to execute a backbreaker. Jasper traps Tavion in a painful submission hold. Troy kicks Heights, who responds desperately. Tavion unleashes an offensive on Troy, who he knocks down with a belly-to-suplex. Heights seeks height to finish him off with a frog splash. 1..2..NO. Tavion tries to continue his offensive, but Jasper surprises him with a Black Hole Slam. 1..2..3.

Winner and STILL WWE Speed Champion: Jasper Troy (4:08)

Troy retreats backstage while Heights remains in the ring. Suddenly, Lexis King appears out of nowhere to attack Tavion from behind! King performs The Coronation on his victim, whom he doesn't stop yelling at as the segment comes to an end.

We move backstage. Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey converse in front of Ava's office door. Grey recalls that Fatal Influence intervened in her title match last week, so she deserves a new opportunity. Sinclair agrees, so she encourages her friend to knock on the door. However, before she can do so, Zaria and Sol Ruca appear on the scene. Zaria couldn't help but overhear the conversation. And for the Australian, Sinclair and Grey have finished with Jacy Jayne. Now it's their turn. That said, she asks Wren if she would let Grey have a new opportunity before her. Sinclair replies yes, as right now her partner is better than her. Kendal interrupts, making it clear that she wouldn't be here if it weren't for her. And if she wants a chance against Jacy, she'll support her unconditionally, just as she did before. Sol intervenes to remind them that Jayne has defeated them both. Suddenly, the office door opens. It's Jacy Jayne. "Hey, lower your voices. The Champion is having a meeting with the General Manager," she says. Sol, Zaria, Wren, and Kendal enter the office dragging Jayne with them. Once inside, they find Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley. The three teams soon start arguing. Ava interrupts them to explain what's going on. The General Manager informs the newcomers that she has had a conversation with Santino Marella, who will allow an NXT team to compete for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships! That said, she announces that next week they will face off in a triple threat to determine which team gets that opportunity. The segment ends with the three teams starting a new argument.

A satisfied Lexis King boasts about his attack on Tavion Heights in front of Chase U (Andre Chase, Uriah Connors, and Kale Dixon). "No one humiliates The King and gets away with it," he says. Andre tells his students that this moment will serve as a lesson, specifically what not to do. Lexis reminds them of Ava's words at the beginning of the night, adding that he will do whatever it takes to climb to the top of the ladder and win the NXT Championship. "First: because it's my birthright. Second: because this is something we should all be doing", he says.

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grace join the conversation. "Stacks" advises Chase U to listen to what King says because he knows what he's talking about. "Él me ayudó a ganar esto," he says while they both point to the TNA International Title. Tired, Chase leaves the place with his students. King regrets that there are talents that will never learn. With that said, he asks "Stacks" if he can handle Shiloh Hill alone. "I have my exotic and beautiful queen. I don't need anything else. I got this", Lorenzo replies. He and Arianna leave the place, as does King. Robert Stone crosses paths with Lexis, reminding him not to attack his companions. Stone meets Myles Borne, who wants to talk to him. Stone indicates that it can't be, as he has to go to Ava's office. Borne grabs him to prevent him from leaving. "Listen to me! I'm not asking, I'm telling you. I want to be in one of the qualifying matches! Got it?", asks a threatening Myles. Stone promises to talk to Ava about it. Borne leaves to end the segment.

Elio LeFleur stars in a new promotional video. Elio acknowledges that a masked French wrestler is not common. But there's a story behind it. When he was 16, he was trained by a Mexican wrestler named Nitro. He held an annual seminar in his homeland and always gave a mask to his best student. And that's how he got it. LeFleur was very young, but that gesture meant a lot to him. "It's one of the moments in my career that I'm most proud of. Now, every time I enter the ring, I represent him by wearing the mask, and with my style, I try to show that he was right and honor the tradition of wrestling, because without him, I wouldn't be who I am now or where I am today. Elio LeFleur arrives at NXT, and I'm here to cut through the sky," he says to end his promo.

Ethan Page approaches Ava backstage. The General Manager asks if he's here to bother her again with The Vanity Project. Page replies no, although he's glad they were hired for NXT. "All Ego" points out that the reason he's here is to talk about the NXT Championship. "Who am I going to face in my qualifying match?" asks Ethan. "No one," replies Ava. Page is glad to hear that, as it means he's already qualified. The General Manager explains that he won't be part of the qualifying matches. Ethan wants to know who deserves an opportunity more than him. Ava knows very well that he's had a great year and that he's currently a double champion. However, if he wants to compete for the NXT Championship, he'll have to hand over the North American Title. Page flatly refuses. "If you were in the Ladder Match and won, the North American Title would have to be vacated anyway. I would force you to do it because we're focusing on the future," says Ava. Upset, Page lists his achievements as North American Champion in 2025, where he was the best wrestler in the company. Ava acknowledges Page's achievements and his great reign. Therefore, his title, the same one he has carried throughout the past year, deserves all the focus possible. And that's why it will be defended next week. Ethan refuses, but Ava's decision is firm. The General Manager informs him that his opponent will be Elio LeFleur. Surprised, "All Ego" asks her if she will really give a title shot to a wrestler on the same night as his debut. "It sounds familiar, doesn't it? You can handle it," says a smiling Ava before leaving.

Blake Monroe makes his entrance. Microphone in hand, the Brit recalls what happened last week, ensuring that her intention was to regain the NXT North American Championship. And yes, she attacked Thea Hail, but that's what "The Glamour" does: bring chaos. Furthermore, to begin with, she should never have competed to regain the gold. Unfortunately, her actions led her to be expelled from the venue, as if she were the problem. But she understands. "When you have as much talent as I do, people don't know what to do with you", she says. She will always be judged, but they will never dare to admit the truth: that Blake Monroe is the standard. Monroe makes it clear that last week she didn't lose control. She lost patience. Now she will let the focus be on other women. "Because every story ends with the same truth: there are stars, and then there are women who spend their entire careers..."

Jaida Parker interrupts the segment!

"Can I help you?" asks Blake. "You're not letting me speak," says Jaida with laughter as she drops the microphone. Monroe does the same before throwing a right hook at Parker. She blocks it to respond forcefully. Jaida takes the Brit to one of the corners, where she applies several corner spears. After that, she prepares to execute The Silencer. Blake takes refuge on the apron, where she receives the impact of a Hipnotic. The Brit ends up at ringside. Jaida celebrates with a completely engaged audience as the segment comes to an end.

Shiloh Hill delivers a new video promo ahead of his title match tonight. Hill recalls his great 2025, winning the second season of WWE LFG with the help of The Undertaker and making it to NXT, where he began a rivalry with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. The Christmas Chaos that pitted them against each other was absolute madness, and it reminded him of his Christmases when he was seven years old. Hill wanted a python, but his parents didn’t buy it for him. That’s when he came up with an idea. Shiloh knew of a family of squirrels hibernating inside a tree near his house. And he brought them into his home to see if they would wake up. And boy, did they. The squirrels wreaked havoc in the house, and it was incredible. Hill then recalls what happened last week, when his mouthguard accidentally fell on top of Arianna Grace while he was dancing a tango with her. However, tonight isn’t about that. It’s about the TNA International Championship. “After this match, TNA and NXT will know why no one should ever underestimate Shiloh Hill”, he says to close his promo.

DarkState cut a promo reflecting on their 2025. The heels promise that this year they will wipe everyone out, because we still haven’t seen everything they are capable of. Dion Lennox and his teammates address Joe Hendry and OTM, reminding them that when DarkState strikes, no one is safe.

TNA International Championship Match
Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (c) (with Arianna Grace) vs. Shiloh Hill

“Stacks” kisses Arianna as the referee raises the championship. After stepping away from her boyfriend, Grace stands in front of Hill and slaps him. Shiloh laughs. Lorenzo tries to attack him, forcing the referee to start the match. Hill dodges a corner splash from “Stacks,” who crashes into one of the turnbuckles. Shiloh covers him. 1..2..NO. Channing recovers and traps Hill in a wristlock. Shiloh escapes and responds in kind. “Stacks” heads to the ropes to force the break.

Shiloh sends “Stacks” out of the ring. Hill goes after him. Lorenzo tries to surprise him, but ends up eating a discus lariat. Shiloh charges with a spear at Channing, but Arianna pulls her boyfriend out of the way just in time. As a result, Hill crashes through the ringside area next to the steel steps and falls on the opposite side. Shiloh goes back after the champion, this time executing a cannonball off the steel steps. Lorenzo regains control once they return to the ring.

Channing throws Shiloh into one of the turnbuckles. “Stacks” focuses his punishment on his opponent’s back. Lorenzo fires off several knee strikes to Hill’s stomach before finishing him with a diving European uppercut. 1..2..NO. Lorenzo hangs Shiloh by the legs over one of the turnbuckles. Even so, Hill manages to strike the champion to begin a comeback.

“Stacks” takes Shiloh to the opposite corner, where he finally accomplishes his goal. Channing kicks a defenseless Hill at will. Lorenzo drops Shiloh before delivering a clothesline nearly flush with the mat. 1..2..NO. Channing prepares for his next attack, but Hill stops him with a slam. Shiloh removes his mouthguard to unleash a quick offensive flurry, ending with a unique spinning senton. 1..2..NO.

“Stacks” surprises Hill by striking him with the help of the ropes. He then executes a Gutbuster. 1..2..NO. Shiloh avoids Lorenzo’s finisher and poses next to Arianna, who has her back turned to the ring and doesn’t see the challenger. When she realizes it’s him standing beside her, she screams. Lorenzo rushes over to check on his girlfriend.

The action moves to the apron. Shiloh battles his opponent while avoiding Grace. Hill surprises “Stacks” with a sunset flip, but the champion blocks it to cover him. Arianna tries to grab Lorenzo’s hands to apply more pressure, but the referee quickly notices. Hill covers Lorenzo with a roll-up. 1..2..NO. Arianna shoves her boyfriend so he can roll through and cover his opponent. 1..2..3.

Winner and STILL TNA International Champion: Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo

Izzi Dame makes her entrance. Dame poses with the NXT North American Championship in the center of the ring before grabbing a microphone. “Ladies and gentlemen, and everyone who thought they understood how this division works, welcome to your new reality!” Izzi exclaims as she displays her title. Dame boasts about being the woman who won the gold last week, assuring that everything was part of a meticulously calculated plan. Izzi knows the fans in attendance were happy after Tatum Paxley defeated her last week. And she also knows that none of them could have imagined how the night would end. Because she didn’t go back to backstage to sulk over her loss. No. She was watching, learning how this place works. “All that loss did for me last week was give me clarity”, she says. Izzi claims she’s always three steps ahead of everyone else, which is why her plan worked perfectly. “I engineered my opportunity. I designed the outcome. And that’s why I’m a champion now”, she says. Dame then addresses all the women who want to take her title away, such as Lola Vice and Thea Hail. Izzi makes it clear to Vice that wanting a title is very different from having it. As for Thea, she assures her that crying won’t help her earn another opportunity. Because now this championship is hers. She’s in charge and knows how to handle anyone who tries to get close to her belt. And if not, they can ask Tatum Paxley. Izzi issues a warning to all the women planning to come after her championship. “You won’t be fighting for a title. You’ll be walking straight into a trap, and you won’t realize it until you’re standing on it. And that’s just…”

Tatum Paxley storms onto the scene!

Four officials try to keep Tatum from reaching the ring, but they can’t stop her. Paxley storms into the ring and takes down her enemy, unleashing a barrage of punches. The referees finally manage to pull her away from the champion, but one of them is knocked out with a headbutt. Tatum tries to get to Dame again, but she is finally restrained. Paxley yells at Izzi, who remains by the commentary table clutching her title.

Kelly Kincaid interviews Ricky Saints backstage. “The Absolute” announces that he will be part of the qualifying matches for the NXT Championship Ladder Match. In the meantime, next week he will be watching the first qualifying bouts, featuring competitors such as Josh Briggs, Sean Legacy, and Shiloh Hill. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Arianna Grace interrupt the interview. Lorenzo doesn’t understand how Hill has earned an opportunity and not him, especially after beating him tonight. “Sure. Your girl helped you win the match. But it’s fine. You still have the title and the girl. Let’s go”, Saints says before walking away. Lexis King appears on the scene. King places his hand on Lorenzo’s shoulder. “Let’s talk”, he says.

We see three officials escorting Tatum Paxley out of the building. Meanwhile, The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor, and Ricky Smokes) approach Blake Howard to announce that they have officially signed as NXT talents tonight. And they’re eager to meet all the women on the roster. Drake also states that he will compete in the qualifying matches, as he is the WWE Evolve Champion. Keanu Carver appears on the scene, causing the three talents to quickly walk away. Howard approaches Carver to interview him, but he yells at them to get out of his way. Keanu punches the camera to end the segment.

No Disqualification Match
Joe Hendry (with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) vs. Dion Lennox (with Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars, and Cutler James)

Joe Hendry makes his entrance. DarkState head out to meet him, at which point OTM appear on the scene. The faction then decides to return to the ring. Hendry challenges Lennox to face him without the help of his teammates. The rest of DarkState leave the ring so the match can begin.

Joe and Dion lock up. Lennox unleashes a flurry of attacks on the Scotsman before sending him out of the ring. Hendry quickly returns, preventing DarkState from attacking him. Joe takes control and delivers a spinning neckbreaker. 1..2..NO. Lennox recovers. Dion drops the Scotsman with an uppercut before applying a backbreaker. 1..2..NO. Lennox locks Joe in a headlock. Hendry escapes and fires back with several uppercuts, but his opponent knocks him down again and traps him in another headlock.

Dion throws Hendry into two opposite turnbuckles to punish his back. Saquon places a steel chair in one of the corners, signaling Lennox to throw his rival into it. However, the Scotsman avoids it and strikes Shugars, who ends up at ringside. Now it’s Nima who hands a pair of brass knuckles to Joe. He uses them to knock out Lennox. 1..2..NO.

Both teams face off in the center of the ring, starting a brawl that quickly spills backstage.

Meanwhile, Joe sets up a table in one of the corners before grabbing a steel chair. An idea his rival also has. Both men clash their chairs, which end up on the mat. Lennox then delivers a spinebuster to Hendry, whose back crashes onto one of the chairs. 1..2..NO. Hendry responds with a Standing Ovation onto that same chair. 1..2..NO.

The action continues, with Dion hitting a spear on Joe to crash through the table set up in the corner, completely destroying it. 1..2..NO. Lennox picks up one of the steel chairs, ready to strike Joe, but Tony D’Angelo smashes him from behind with the other chair! He then delivers a spinebuster to Lennox. D’Angelo helps Joe back to his feet, only to hit him with another spinebuster! Tony drags Hendry and places him on top of Dion. The referee counts the three. 1..2..3.

Winner: Joe Hendry

Ava appears on the scene with four members of security. One of them steps onto the apron to order Tony to leave the ring. D’Angelo grabs him and slams him onto the mat! The rest of the security rush into the ring, but they are no match for the fury of the former NXT North American Champion, who takes them all out. Tony steps out of the ring and stands face to face with Ava. The two exchange silent stares. After a few seconds, D’Angelo continues on his way to backstage. And with that, we reach the end of this week’s episode.
