Dixie Carter reappears at the TNA iMPACT premiere on AMC

The inaugural night of TNA iMPACT on AMC featured a very special appearance linked to the company's history. Dixie Carter, former president of TNA Wrestling, appeared before the live audience in a moment full of symbolism.

Carter was introduced on stage by Carlos Silva moments before the main event. Visibly emotional, she addressed the fans present to thank them for decades of support and to celebrate the beginning of a new era for the company.

I can't believe it's been 24 years. How many of you have been watching TNA almost from the beginning? I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for being here tonight. It's an incredible honor. This company is on AMC, starting a new chapter, and I couldn't be prouder of the roster and all of you, the fans. Thank you for everything you've done. It's a very sentimental night for me, so thank you very much.

After finishing her speech, Bully Ray came out on stage, engaging in a brief confrontation with Carter that evoked their past history in the company. They embraced before Bully headed to the commentary table. It's worth noting that Ray delivered a memorable Powerbomb from the corner to Carter in one of the few times the former President physically got involved in the show.

Dixie Carter was the president of TNA Wrestling from 2003 to 2016, being one of the most influential figures during the company's period of greatest expansion. Her appearance on the debut of iMPACT on AMC served as a bridge between TNA's past and future.
